And don't think for a second that, if they got into this league, they wouldn't be telling all the SEC how the cow eats the cabbage on a regular basis, starting with moving the HQ to Dallas.

The big question is why LSU people keep bringing it up? Aggies and sips are doing well without the game.
See earlier post rivalries are new to me.

Probably because now that we've beaten LSU during our SEC tenure, it makes them uncomfortable to be our focus going forward. Larson is an idiot looking for attention. The series is dead, the demand is NOT there from either fanbase, and there are more important games to focus on.

Of course we do retard. We have 10 billion dollars.

Aggy's fear of playing them is better for Texas honestly. Aggy would be a huge blow to Texas' strength of schedule.

Does Texas A&M have political clout to continue to tell Texas no?
Clearly not because we've been forced to play them on their terms every year between 2012 and 2018...oh, wait...

the level of clout A&M threw around in 2010 and 2011 is nothing short of legendary and epic
we single handily ended UTs hopes of a pac 16, forced them to remain in the big 12, snapped our fingers in 2011 and got an SEC offer which resulted in a complete and total break from the red headed step children, which put them in a corner so they had to add TCU to the big 12 only adding another red headed step child. now when the next shite hits the fan, baylor and tcu and tech will all be looking at UT to save them while A&M is completely and 100% free of their garbage.
i mean it truly doesnt get any better than that. it just doesnt

The state of TX has no say. Athletic departments are self funded and completely separate from tax-funded academics, buildings, etc.
A&M doesn't have to play them.

What fanbase are you? it's a little difficult to direct an answer.

Aggies just curious do you see politicians trying to force this game
you would never see legislation pass. it's unconstitutional and too petty for voters opinion when there are so many other more serious issues we pay our state government to accomplish.

at least they still have some fight in them, you guys just claim to be a basketball school and throw your coach under the bus the minute things get rough,

You are framing the question wrong.
Three times, aggy politicians have filed bills to force the game to continue. The first two were laughed away, the third comes up when the legislature convenes this month, and will likely be laughed out of the statehouse.
So the question should be, "Does aggy have the political clout to force the game to continue?" Answer: No.
Shut the frick up, Randy.

I mean the real answer is do the politicians have the clout to follow through on their campaign promise once elected? And the answer is no. The reason is that many of the legislature went to one of the many other schools in Texas and don't want to legislate about college football.

It was the perfect arse whipping.
It is akin to getting a divorce, taking a much higher paying job, and leaving that bitch with all the starving brat children with no child support.
Who does this game benefit the most?
Who benefits the most by talking about this game?
We have Georgia's poser, fake, bullshite "contender" arse to thank for this topic being renewed. Good job, dawgs.
