At least Nap is swinging for the fences. Sets a good tone going forward.

The only decommit I question was Gibson but Napier has a plan not to take just anyone. He wants buy in, maybe Gibson did not buy in and Billy told him to look elsewhere?

You can never satisfy everyone. I wish him well wherever he lands.

Mr. Evers...Your son is not and was not a part of coach's future plans, you know this...Coach Napier had enough courtesy and class to tell Nick this to his face.

co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach Patrick Toney on the day was to see Jacksonville (Fla.) Riverside five-star cornerback Jaheim Singletary, a Georgia Bulldogs commit.

Austin Ausberry -

"It felt good having him around my family because he's a Louisiana guy," Ausberry said. "It was a good time talking to him. I saw they offered Coach [Corey] Raymond, so that was pretty crazy. He was just telling me what is going on at Florida right now and basically saying what the deal is there. He said they didn't have a DB coach at first for cornerbacks, but now they did when they met with me. I was kind of iffy not knowing who the position coach would be there, but now they do and Coach Raymond is an eye opener for me. Coach Juluke has been the one who has been talking to me the most. I like he's upfront and he's a Louisiana guy."

Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy Top247 cornerback Daylen Everette backed off a verbal commitment to Clemson on Friday. Everette claims that he's still trying to figure out what's next, but he did tell 247Sports that he has spoken with a few different schools ever since word leaked that he was opening his recruitment back up.

"I'm trying to get everything worked out," Everette told 247Sports when reached by phone. "Georgia, Florida, Miami and USC have all hit me up."

Clemson OC Tony Elliott is expected to be the next coach at Virginia. A deal should be finalized in the near future.

i wonder what this means for some potential recruits.
