I don't know anyone who is Gumbo.
I think it's sparked debate and chatter for the game which is great. Hell, the build up for the LSU game is always better than the Auburn or Tennessee game and Auburn beat us last year. But, there's no way this board will be lively then as it is now. Same can be said for LSU, no other game will get this much hype and build up.
As far as a rivalry - I like what's going on between LSU & Alabama.

I agree with everything you just said... despite all the BS, this has been fun and entertaining as hell

I remember a few years back, LSU fans steaming mad- almost to the point of trash they spewed this last Saturday- in regards to the playoff committee having bama in the top 4 on their first week of picking the 4.
With LSU fans it's always something that involves bama, thus it's bama.

You know why? Minus the current Denvin White issue (which the primary beef is with the SEC office) it starts with Saban (you know the story...not rehashing it), follows with recruiting, then the historically bad and no calls when we play each other.

TutHillTiger is a crazy old man that yells at clouds, but let's not act like the influx of mouth-breathers from TR haven't said the same insane shite. Even in this thread, LSU fans are calling out OP for not being conspiracy-minded enough.
I think it was a close call, and I think the punishment is absurd, but that's the rule. It was called on the field, and the replay officials didn't overturn it. It happens all the time. People wanting to blow it up into a huge conspiracy simply don't understand how many people would have to be involved and kept quiet, particularly those who want to claim that the conspiracy goes back for like 10 years. It's just not possible. People talk, and not just to their LSU friends who visit Hoover for a few days.
