Perfect example of the redneck fans people are talking bring negativity to a program.
For the record I looked at two things when picking a college. To find the best school to fit what I wanted to major in and second was smart enough not to get me in debt so if I could attend an instate college and still achieve my education goal that is where I was going. I accomplished both.
So if I lived in Texas I would have ended up at either UT or Rice to meet the two things I required and still would not have cheered for either.

Sounds like you should be an NFL fan

quote:I'm not proud of our state in some ways, but Alabama is ranked higher than Louisiana in every catagory that the US News ranked the states recently. Louisiana has worse health care, worse education, worse economy, worse crime, etc. than Alabama. They also are the bottom state when it comes to opportunity.
Alabama is a flyover trashpile with nothing going for it other than 18-22 year olds playing football.

aTm can not even get the Alumni Assoc thing correct. You call it what The Association of Former Students. And from reading the stats aTm may have the largest number of sidewalk/bandwagon fans of any SEC team.
Your school started in 1879 but yet more than 50% of your graduates are from 1997 to current. I have seen far more older aTm fans that would have graduated before 1997 at games which means that 100k+ stadium I see filled with sidewalk fans. So aTm finally 1st at something

I've never been a NFL fan and only keep up with the Bama boys there.

Clearly you've never been to an A&M game. Most all of our fans are graduates. And our alumni network is second to none.
Unfortunately most of Bama's fans and posters can't take advantage of UofA's network, given they aren't alumni.

I attended and graduated from UAH, a college in North Alabama that is a part of the UA system. They have no football team. My daughter also attended and graduated from UAH, and my son attended and graduated from UA, where he was a Million Dollar Band member.
Am I allowed to pull for Alabama, oh mighty one that knows all??

To be certain, LA is abysmal in all those categories. Still, NOLA is our savior...We have one of the most celebrated cities in the world...People fly in from all over the world to experience it every single day.

Wrong but like many aTm have no clue about anything.

Now you are just showing how big of an idiot you are on the board.
And FTR UA Alumni 31% make contributions to the college compared to aTm where it is at 20%. They really care.

i like mid city but the good places are always crowded. Uptown has a more chill vibe. I can walk into a nice restaurant on the weekend without waiting. Try that at Katie's!
