I gotta admit Tua is by far the best QB in the SEC. I’m pretty sad that a QB of his quality is protected by an elite defense as well.

Alabama is doing exactly what great offenses are supposed to do. Skull drag bad defenses. We've all seen over hyped teams slop around for 3 quarters against inferior opponents. You won't see that with this offense.

The obvious point is that Mond is like Hurts in that he struggles to consistently produce an efficient downfield passing game. As often as not, when he does complete the pass, the receiver is having to adjust to the ball. He has no touch, and he can't hit a guy in stride very well. Monds and Hurts are also alike in that both can run better than they can pass, but Hurts is much faster than Monds.
Tua, unlike Hurts or Monds, is very good and consistent in the downfield passing game. He hits receivers in stride, can check down to secondary and tertiary receivers, and is very good at reading defenses before and after the snap. He can also run. In fact, he's better than Monds even running the ball. Tua is that rare dual threat quarterback, which Monds and Hurts are not.
That's the obvious point.
