Alabama has the #5 offensive drive efficiency this season according to CFBMatrix.

Drives with Tua are #1, Hurts #34.

The gap between Tua and 2nd place is as large as the gap between 2nd and 27th.

So bammers, how are you enjoying this momentarily elite offense?

Well, if Tua doesn’t get hurt they likely go 15-0. So I’m sure they’re enjoying it?

The next two years will seem like a moment. I'm trying to just enjoy it as it happens.

You don't think games against ole miss and Louisville could end up as outliers?

I have not watched Tua play as yet. However the stats and reports are impressive. I remember when Cam was at Auburn, he was a fricking cheat code. Very, very fun.

We will not put up 50+ points when we see some good defenses.

They could be, but Tua basically did the same thing in the second half against a great UGA defense. So it’s not like Tua hasn’t proven he can perform at this level against elite competition.

It's what we've been waiting to see under Saban for years. We've had a ton of elite offensive talent. I figured at some point, we'd get an elite, first round QB talent. Aside from kicker, it's the only position we haven't had elite talent.

It's fricking amazing to watch.

Auburn fans should know better than to use the word CAM and CHEAT in the same sentence

This is actually pretty common when there is no film on a guy and he's significantly different stylistically to the guy he replaced.

Kirby and UGA fully prepared to play against Jalen Hurts.

A lot of teams would have "elite" offensive stats vs Louisville, Arkansas St., and Ole Miss.

tua put up 26 on Georgia in one half and 2 plays, with pretty much no real college experience. If he plays a whole game we are going to score at least 40 on anybody, because we are going to keep drives going unlike last year, where it was our defense getting run ragged by long drives. There is really no defending perfect ball placement + anticipation + quick release + very good and improving oline + 4 stud wrs + 4 stud RBs.

So did fricking Vanderbilt. It was no big secret how to defend Bama. Knowing how to beat Bama and having the talent to do it are two different things.

Alabama is good but...

Total Defense ranks:

Arkansas State: 94th
Louisville: 85th
Ole Miss: 124th

We'll get all the answers we want vs Auburn, LSU, Miss St, etc.

If Tua had been named the starter prior to the UGA game, do you think he would have had the same success?

This....I've always said Alabama has been winning with stellar defense and game manager quarterbacks with mediocre offenses. I also said what if we ever got a QB of the Peyton Manning/Tom Brady caliber that can actually win a game and put the game on his shoulders. Honestly I didn't think it would ever happen being how stubborn Saban is to offensive change and throwing the ball. It's an Alabama thing. We were winning so I could accept it. We honestly just got lucky with Tua and caught lightning in a bottle. Just at the right time too cause our defense will need a little help this year. It's possible we could win it all this year. We still have a tough road with A&M, LSU, Miss St, and Auburn but most of those games are at home. And the scary part is this team is tremendously young....One of the youngest we've had in a while. Imagine how potent we will be when the defense gets to 2011 form and Tua peaks with the offense. I know some of you other team fans will hate and try to downplay the possibilities but it's damn scary even to me and I'm a Bama fan.
