Malzahn is 17-8 as a head coach in September...3 of those loses came at ASU against Power 5 programs. The other 5 loses came against top-20 competition including 2 loses to teams ranked in the top-2.

Malzahn is 17-7 as a head coach in November...including 4 loses against unranked opponents. The worst of those loses was either 2014 A&M or 2016 uga.

Malzahn's winning percentage as a coach is only marginally better overall than it is in September and November. Of course we always get Mrs. State, Ole Miss and arkie in October generally.
