Jalen Williams doesn't even start for us... and Bryson would not play over Kendall Joseph or Tre Lamar.
Player Total Tackles TFL Sacks INT Games
Kendall 206 16.5 4 2 30
Bryson 135 15.0 4.5 4 35
If Jalen doesn't start for you guys then blame ourlads and 24/7 where I pulled your 2 deep (both agree he will be the starter).
And you realize that BAW was hurt last year and had to take a RS? He only played in 2 full games.
Additionally, Kendall has the luxury of playing behind Clemson's D-line. That has to count for something. And lets not forget that BAW went through a program change while at USC.
To many variables, but if I can't make the statement, you can't make it either. But I do know BAW would be in the running to start at at least one of the schools you listed.

Gamecocks are gonna be tough. Its a good matchup with us early in the season as our D will need a few games to gel and we are going to have to see how our offense shakes out with Chubb and Michel gone.
Make no mistake though, this is a super talented UGA team from top to bottom with quality depth and on paper we should win...but games aren't played on paper and I expect the loss of Roquan and the inexperienced secondary to allow USC to stay in the game, even with a talent deficiency
The question is...can Muschamp and company stop our offense? We have a stable of top shelf running backs, one of the better olines in the conference, and if Demetris Robertson gets cleared, def one of the best WR cores in the conference.
If they can't stop our offense then it won't matter how good Deebo and company are as they will be watching from the side lines.
Can't wait for this game...its gonna be a good one.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)

You could have looked at the depth chart Clemson actually released post-spring. I counted the games that both played in... not number of seasons... that comparison is fair.
Yes it helps to play behind a great DL, but sometimes that can hurt you if your DL is making lots of tackles behind the line of scrimmage... We were top ten as a team with tackles for loss.
I will grant you that Bryson is a solid player. This defense is nowhere close to the D that produced your previous 5 game win streak over the Tigers. It might get there in a couple years.
