I'm a lifelong Tiger fan and also an alum. I was told to logon to TD back in 09 to find other fans heading up for the big LSU/U-Dub game in Seattle. Big for those of us living on the Upper Left Coast anyways. Priority number one back then was getting the band to come to Seattle. I have a different username now but have periodically posted ever since.

Didn't take me long to prefer SEC Rant to the Tiger Rant. I enjoy the trolling and hazing as long as it is well executed. 20 years ago I posted on the college football Usenet group and it had a similar vibe. Multiple fanbase interaction is where it's at. This is my briar patch away from my real briar patch (Red Stick).

From Georgia. I attend Auburn. I enjoy shite talking. I am borderline obsessed with Auburn football and am a huge fan of college football in general, especially the SEC. I hate UGA. I took a hiatus for the majority of the summer but it’s almost football season so I started back up. Considering my age and other factors I probably should not be on an SEC football forum talking shite to men who are balding, but here I am.

I am not sure why I am here. I'd have to say that the only really personal connections I've made are full of duel vitriol and I also feel it is absolutely necessary to go for the throat every time I post. Maybe the other poster was right and this is a healthy outlet for my anger.

Oh, sure, a few folks on here can get their undies a in bunch and really freak out.

But, oddly enough, even though we poke fun at one another, this is one of the most harmonious boards I've ever been on. Sure, avoid political topics, but we take everything else in stride.

I could be casting slurs on your family for the past 9 generations in one thread and then be inviting you over for drinks if you are ever in my neck of the woods the next.

This is the single best sports board in the US. And our sub-boards are pretty kick arse as well.

For me it boils down to one thing

Fear of missing out

And I get to see stuff that none of my friends see because most people don’t get on this god forsaken site as much as most of us here do

First, I'm here for SEC discussion. The Razorback boards don't give a shite about anything other than firing someone or a recruit who's blowing smoke up our arse. The realistic and logical posters have given up and just argue on the politics board. I really do appreciate the activity and willingness to talk about teams other than your own here. I also find the crossfire entertaining, some are bad and immature about it. Most know how to make a joke and talk in jest.
