Why did you use 20 years? What about 25 or 15 years?
Easy. Anything prior to that is really meaningless. Only a few teams gave a shite about football prior to that time because it wasn’t the money making juggernaut that it is today. Money and effort was not being shoveled into it then like it is now.
I’m sorry that this hurts the feelings of fans of teams like Bama and Notre Dame, but it’s easy to be the best kid on the block at a sport when you are the only kid actually playing the sport. It would be like me bragging about kicking your arse in chess if you had never played chess before. It’s a meaningless brag.

2016 Wisconsin was a really good team. They were grossly underrated in the preseason

The Zooker took them to a Rose Bowl in 07 (I don't know how though since they finished 3rd in the Big 10)
They went to the Rose Bowl because they beat 10-0 #1 Ohio State in Columbus. I went to that game and Juice Williams played the game of his life. Illinois got the ball with 8:09 left and a 28-21 lead and ran off the entire clock on their drive. Best sporting event I've ever seen in person. Illinois was overrated that year because Ohio State was overrated that year.

Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois all dump their shite in the Mississippi. The cumulative effect kills the Tigers.
