Just to play on the "stereotypes"
I'm convinced Tillman is a USCe kid. I haven't seen enough of Ace yet, but you might be right. He's a lunatic.

Unless people are that positive in life.
More power to them.
I'll have the drugs they're on.

He's currently 0-0, which is pretty good for Mississippi State, historically.

good for you.
Take a seat with us though.
I don't mind it. Less stress when the expectations are that high.

No, just amazed at the hype.
It is premature. I think what has us (Georgia fans) sold on him is he has recruited very well, and has recruited to our needs very well. he is building a strong OLine and Dline, which we've not had in awhile.
quote:That and he did go all the way to the National Championship game. I mean, think about how you guys felt after 2013. And Kirby has recruited better than Gus. So, it's only natural to feel like he is the real deal.
I guess they are basing it on last years recruiting class.
I mean, nobody expects him to be Saban 2.0, but we are hoping he does at least what Dabo has done.

Gus hasn't lost to Vandy, UT, etc. all in the same year like Kirby did in 2016.
He also hasn't made the playoffs or beaten Kirby.

Swap Auburn and thUGA's schedule last year, and you'd be singing quite a different tune about your beloved Kirby.
And you know this.....how? Nostradomus?
You have been reduced to guessing and saying "if". Like I said. Eating you alive.

Nope, he is just a real passionate Clemson fan to the point he is a bit delusional about his team.

Possible, but doubtful. Clemson was beatable with their QB, and Bama was beatable with Hurts. Both are not good passers, and would struggle to put up any points vs the UGA D.

Probably the SEC championship and Rose Bowl win over the Heisman winning #1 pick, but you knew that.

Before you get too smug....Gus has lost to a bad UGA twice, Miss. State, Texas A&M twice,Arkansas, and UCF. So lets not act like he hasn't played whoops.
And when Kirby lost those games, it was his first year to be a head coach, so.....

Programs like A&M or Clemson in 2013 have people who deny its even possible to win a national title. That makes it hard to convince recruits it can happen and to sign with you over some other program.
Clemson won a title in 1981.
THe whole 'Clemsoning' meme was based on the premise that many people do think Clemson has the ability to win titles and was underachieving.

I'd say that about you. You spend all day on the internet talking about how ALabama as a program is in a tier of its own.
I think most of the large universities in the south have the ability to win a national title, including SC. SC was basically one game short of playing for national titles with Spurrier.

There is something to be said about a coach that does more with less. That being said doesn't mean he belongs in the same tier as Saban.
I'm not sure having multiple NFL drafted players including Watson is 'less'.

hey have one (maybe two if you count VT) real football power in their conference, with others rising and falling periodically instead of maintaining consistent excellence. And Clemson has always put a lot of emphasis on football, even in their lean years and bad coaches. Hell, until FSU and Miami joined the ACC, Clemson was basically the ACC's football equivalent to Kentucky and basketball in the SEC, albeit without the same level of success. Clemson, like TAMU and Oregon/UCLA, has always been a sort of sleeping giant because of their potential.
Miami has won several national titles.

pretty sure I have a higher IQ than you.
there were Florida, Southern Cal, Texas, Michigan, Nebraska, Tenn , etc fans not that long ago bragging about their programs are elite.
Right now we know that most programs that win national titles are public universities located in the south.
Clemson getting Tajh Boyd and Watson back to back was a difference maker because they were QBs that could have made average teams into contenders. The QB is the most important position.
If Boyd had gone to SC during the Spurrier years, they probably do win at least one natty b/c their defense was probably the best.
Just 4 years ago, people thought SC was going to be a football power forever.
