Fact is Georgia probably has the best in state recruiting situation in the SEC especially when you look at our in state competion. I'd absolutely put UGA in the top 3 when it comes to HC jobs in the SEC.
I would put them 3. Alabama is 1 with their tradition and proximity to Florida, Louisiana, Georgia, and Florida, not to mention the fact they can use their pedigree to recruit nationally. Florida is 2, campus with palm trees, 52k students, good academics, and the most talent rich state, and then UGA 3. I would Auburn and LSU at 4/5, but I think they are all negligible differences between them. My initial point was that there is enough talent in the southeast, that it doesn't matter whether you get 10 from Georgia and 15 else where or 6 from Georgia and 19 elsewhere. You are going to get good talent if you have the right coach.

What???Yes has nothing to do with facilities, campus,Athens or tradition.
Facilities- meh, they are mostly all good in the southeast, Clemson and Alabama standout more than UGA. Campus-meh, to spread out for my liking. Athens-cool town. Tradition- lol

Do you actually think that's what Kirby sells to his recruits?
No I think Kirby sells "championship pedigree" from his time with Saban and Dawgs want to play with Dawgs. That will only last as long as he is winning. We'll see how long that holds up.

Still better off having kids AND parents an hour away
as oppossed to 5 hours...it's a natural selling point. It does matter to have them close.

Still a selling point especially with recent upgrades including the most modern IPF in the SEC.

What?Top 15 in all time wins and 2nd in SECC's...always amazed at AUBURN folks who NOW think NC's are the only measuring stick for success. So does that mean AU had no tradition for the 57 years in between NC's?All take our resume all day every day over AU's.

Maybe for the 2016 and 2017 classes, but He now sells championship football from the 2017 season. Recruits bought in quickly once they saw the wins.

Since one of the highest technology cities with one largest research parks in the world is in Alabama, you might want to reconsider your statement........

The difference is that Alabama was in the mix for several of those years at the end of the season for the NC (89, 94, 05) where UGA only had 1982, along with Alabama competeing for the SEC (or winning) in 89, 92, 93, 94, 96, 99.
Couple that with Alabama going on ncaa sanctions that crippled the program for about 10 years, and it really is surprising that a top program like UGA did not compete for more.

You've said or produced no evidence to refute my facts.
So are trying to tell me Nebraska produces better HS talent than Georgia because of their NC's???Are you really this stupid???
No state produced more NFL Draft picks in 2017 than Georgia. Please refute this fact.
State of Georgia was 3rd in D1 signees in 2017.Please refute this fact.
State of Georgia is 4th in producing current NFL players
UGA does well one year, and you are off the charts.
Saying a recruit is a 5 star is meaningless, as you should be well aware of. Bragging about how many NFL players your state produces yet your state has not won a single NC in the last 25 years (actually it was GT in 1990, right? )
By the way, while you want to diminish the state of Texas, they at least WON a NC in the last 25 years.
Like I said, Georgia is producing talent, but not the quality that you think, or your team would be better.
Stick to your meaningless stats if they comfort you, other teams in states with less "talent" will continue to win NCs

You scored 7 points in the second half, and if not for Alabama missing FG, the game would have been over...
Get a better team.

Are you 12 years old?
Do you really think NFL GM's draft native born Georgia players because they were overvalued or maybe there's
some type of conspiracy to draft them over players that
were born elsewhere?
How bout college HC's?Are they signing all these Georgia kids just for the fun of it or maybe just feel sorry for them?
Has UGA and University of Texas underached the last 25 years?Sure but HS players from Georgia and Texas have
all played for NC's at Bama,AU,UT,Clemson,UF,Nebraska,FSU
and LSU. Highly doubt Clemson (Deshaun Watson amongst others)Auburn (Cam amongst others) or UT (Jamal Lewis,Deon Grant,Casey Coleman amongst other) would not have won a NC without em.

Keep on thinking that the State of Georgia has something special on the field, because the results are not there.
However, with all your stats, that is all you have, stats, nothing on the field.
Players leaving Georgia to play at other schools, I would say they knew what where the winners play.

but you completely conflate 2 different issues.I have no idea what type of point you think you're making.
ONCE again are you saying Nebraska has produced better HS players because they have produced more NC's than
Georgia or Texas? Are you not capable of making this distinction?

It's doesn't matter what I think about talent levels in the state I just gave you objective facts which you've yet to refute.

How have I given ONE meaningless fact? The whole discussion is about how much talent the state of Georgia has produced PERIOD!

Alabama is a great job with the right coach.
I don’t think it’s a great job logistically.
Alabama doesn’t have great HS football, it’s a small state, plus I think the fan base is too narcissistic for average or good coaches.

Lordy 3rddown what are the teams from Alabama ever gonna do. You do realize that the most astounding and dominating run in college football history was the incredible 2009 through 2012 string of four national champions in a row FROM THE SAME STATE! And this tremendous domination of the other 49 states came with in seconds of being FIVE YEARS RUNNING when AU lost to FSU in the final seconds! Alabama is truly the epicenter of college football...
LOL @ you! Quality wise, they have tremendous HS football with great, dedicated coaches! Heck, Mobile produces more NFL players than some states.
Shug used to say "we can take our 30 from the state, Alabama take their 30 and their's 30 more out there who can beat either one"

Got nothing against Alabama and I am considering moving to live on Lake Wedowee or Weiss Lake. But in all honesty, having a research park there did not enter my mind when considering Alabama.
