Have we offered a kid out of Silver Bluff, DB, not sure what class or his name. Was in front of him in the line in the grocery store today and he had on a Will Muschamp football camp shirt. Started a convo with him and he said he went with Pender (last name) who is a QB out of Barnwell. Asked him if he wanted to be a Gamecock and he said he wanted to be a Gamecock and nothing else.

That is amazing. The best edit I've seen yet, tbh. I saw where the coaches poll standings riled up some of the other fanbases listed behind us and one particular one not listed at all. Steele seemed to be pretty impressed with it. How could you not be?

The 2020 prospects are starting to add up ... looks like we're already in with quite a few big names.
CG just found a big QB prospect from California, 6-5 245 4* that we've offered.
We're playing long ball here.

Major guy here. And he is extremely interested in Carolina. Hilinski has made a tremendous impression on him talking us up. Can't really say more than that yet but when I'm able to, I'll fill y'all in more. It's really early bc he's only a Sophomore but it looks very, very good for us right now.
"One doesn't find many quarterbacks the size of Cam Newton: 6-foot-5, 245 pounds. One finds even fewer in their sophomore years of high school.
Meet D.J. Uiagalelei.
The massive 2020 passer from St. John Bosco High School in California tweeted he picked up an offer from South Carolina football on Thursday afternoon. He is the the No. 8 prospect in his class and a four-star in the 247 Sports rankings, though he does not yet have a composite rating.
Uiagalelei claims offers from a slew of top programs, including Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, Ohio State.
He is teammates with five-star South Carolina defensive back target Chris Steele and plays in the same league as USC 2019 commit Ryan Hilinski. Uiagalelei was part of a team that finished No. 4 in the USA Today Super 25 national rankings."

Dutch Fork receiver Jalin Hyatt caught the attention of the South Carolina coaching staff Friday.
Hyatt, a rising junior, turned in a strong performance at USC’s camp and warranted a meeting with Gamecocks’ coaching Will Muschamp.
“I talked to coach (Muschamp) one on one and he said they are going to recruit me heavy, and they said they want me to come to some games this fall to visit.”
Hyatt, 6-foot-2, 165-pound, ran a 4.32 in the 40-yard dash and recorded a 38-2-inch vertical jump. He showcased his jumping ability on several occasions last year and hauled in a pair of one-handed grabs in two different games.

Pretty sure he is looking at playing baseball here though I see him going pro out of hs. Boom has yet to send out a #spursup.

He doesn't have a football offer yet, he is being recruited but he hasn't camped yet so he is strictly a baseball commit at this point.

According to a recent interview Brandon said Muschamp informed him he would be signing a scholarship for the football team and walk on to the baseball team. He is ranked as the 15th best baseball prospect in his class so chances are he would probably go pro.
