You guys had 3 net yards rushing in the 2nd half. 20% of your rushing yards came on a run that should have been called back.
And we saw that Fromm could carry the team alone. His INT was the turning point in the game.

The turning point in the natty was the blown blocked punt in the 3rd qtr, FACT.

It would've been a false start instead of an offsides call.

You can not cry over missed calls, but key plays can not be taken off the stats.

Swift may be better.
He’s bigger than Michel and faster than Chubb with no injury history.
Swift is legit.
Swift for Heisman.

So your argument is - Georgia will be unable to run the football next year and therefore, Fromm will become one of the worst quarterbacks in the league.
Confirmed - Georgia 14th in the SEC in offense next year.

No dumbass, red my post again. I am saying that UGA will have to depend more on Fromm or whoever to be successful next year. They leaned on the running game and their D, with most of them leaving. The schedule is favorable unless teams improve in the East.

I think I read your posts better than you did. You specifically said that the defensive lines Georgia would face this year would be better than the ones they faced last year.
Now you're arguing that they're weak? Which is it?
If you think Georgia's going to struggle to run the ball next year, you're a goddamned idiot.

No again dumbass, they have the potential to be better than last year. AU will be better up front, LSU will be good, USC UK, UF should improve and UT has to be better under JP. The improvement in the East that I am talking about has to be at UF and UT. If they do not find a QB it is going to be status quo in the East. I think they will, but no guarantees.

So IF USC, LSU, Auburn, Florida AND Tennessee ALL get better on the DL...
And IF Florida and Tennessee find top tier quarterbacks...
And IF D'Andre Swift and all the 4 and 5* backs on Georgia's roster suck...
And IF Jake Fromm goes from really good to really bad overnight...
Then Georgia might not win the SEC.
Does it also have to be a quarter moon?

In the two games UGA lost to SECW teams last year,
Chubb rushed for 25 and 27 yards and Michel rushed for 45 and 98 years. Combined they rushed for over 2600 yards, so you figure out what teams will try to do to UGA.
Of course you think those yards are easily replaced.

I humbly beg to disagree. The turning point was the failure to contain Tua on the scramble on Bama's first TD drive.

And you act like Georgia has no running back talent on the roster. Swift is a beast and they just added two top-tier backs in this year's class. Holyfield and Herrien are no scrubs either.
Again: if you think Georgia will struggle to run the ball this year, you're grasping at straws.

So, you think those backs can get 2600 rushing next year ?

Wouldn't mind another nice bye week before the big dance.

You probably thought Georgia's running game would vanish after Gurley left too.

No, we all know that UGA was a one trick pony that depended on the running game. The coaches realized that would not take them to the promise land, so things had to change.

It would not have mattered. Your we’re going to lose because Georgia was better that day.

Again - not clear what you're referring to here (shocker).
If you're referring to last year's Georgia team being a one-trick pony, then
If you're referring to the 2014 team, then explain what exactly Georgia changed. We went from one mediocre quarterback to another and had another disappointing season in 2015.
Fromm is the first really good quarterback play we've gotten since Murray. Not surprisingly, it's also the first time we've contended for a championship since then.
But the running game has been a constant force throughout. 2016 was the only year I can remember where we just could not run the ball, and that was because we had the shittiest offensive line known to man. That won't be a problem in 2018, not even close.
Again, there's two points that you've made that are just plain wishful thinking:
1. Georgia's running game will suck.
2. Fromm will suck.
Neither are intelligent assumptions to anyone who knows shite about football or UGA.
Posted on 4/21/18 at 7:32 pm to BranchDawg
What year did Gurley leave?
Did not say the running game would suck, just will not produce 2600 yard from two backs. The OP was about QBs leading team to the SEC. I stand by that.
