Nebraska has been done for over a decade. It doesn’t matter who their coach is
If you asked me a year ago, I'd agree. But this is what I thought about Alabama in the late 90's and early 2000's. Then they got a great coach, and it was right back on top for them. I think its less likely at Nebraska, but I wouldn't count out the possibility, a great coach can change a program.

I only see 2 bluebloods listed.

tennessee is considered a blue blood program?
Only by adults who know something about football.

Tennessee will shutdown their program before they ever make the CFP.

Texas or Nebraska. I've given up trying to give Tennessee the benefit of the doubt.

Should be Texas but will probably be Nebraska. Tennessee has no shot of EVER being in the playoffs.

All tu has to do is win the Big 12, which is simple.

Exactly. Frost is the real deal.

Nebraska. They have the best coach and not the toughest road. Their problem is recruiting at a high level.

Tennessee is 10th all time in wins, 12th in winning %, 32nd in conference championships, 13th in consensus AA, 12th in weeks ranked, and 12th in National Champions. Also have a losing record versus both their biggest rivals.
Saying they’re a blue blood is saying they’re on the same level as Alabama, USC, Ohio St., Oklahoma etc. which they are not. Even if you considered them a blue blood before, they weren’t undeniably one and are certainly not anymore.

2016 - OU missed the CFP
2014 - TCU & BU missed the CFP
You basically have a 50-50 of going by winning the Big 12 based on what we've seen so far.

They aren't even ahead of us in multiple rankings.

OU made the playoffs in 16.

I think the better thread would be who makes the playoffs first Texas or Texas A&M?
