He better take his arse to the next level and land some blue chips or he will be outta here quickly. If he’s lazy he, his co-OC buddies, and there captain Stricklin will be out on there arse and doubt you guys would take them back at this point. Pressures on, we’ll see what he’s really made of.
This along with fixing his in game coaching.

That’s why he took the job

I think a big reason why Ani committed is the small community atmosphere. The guy if from Nigeria and a Momma’s boy. I feel like he would’ve been a small fish in a big pond at OSU or Bama. Regardless, I’m pumped.

One of the great mysteries of all time. Mullen dropped the ball there but I have a thought. When he pulled Grantham from Louisville, looking back I realize he had told Grantham to come aboard because he knew he was going to Florida. Think about it, Grantham took a pay cut to come to Msu? The UF deal with Mullen had already been done
Mullen hired Grantham January 2017. You're saying that Mullen and Florida knew then he was going to Florida immediately after McElwain/Florida just won the SEC East for the second year in a row?

Saban, Gus, Dabo, Richt, Meyer, Muschamp, Kirby, others are all up in Florida's business taking what they want. Mullen will take what is leftover.

If Moorhead stays at State 5+ years to build a program I believe he will win big

Melvin Smith signee from the Croom staff.

Not to mention he was going to UT until Florida had to fall back to plan C.

I think UF fans have to give Mullen a fair shake and not panick in year one. And don't look at where you are right now in recruiting (I have no idea) but he likes to see recruits at camp and evaluate. It's the one thing he does best outside of coaching up QB's.
I don't think anyone is panicking, in fact I think most are pretty excited on the recruiting front. We are poised to have a couple of big weekends coming up. The level of interest, visits, etc. from the amount elite talent we've received over the last few months is something, that sadly, we haven't seen in years.

The running back at Florida State? Clinton lined him up at QB and just let him out athlete everyone. That's my point.

Mullen definitely had a different approach. He gets knocked for it all the time, but I was okay with it. The results were very good, by Ms State standards. His approach was based on good evaluations and finding lower rated guys he felt confident he could develop. He also wanted guys who understood they would be asked to redshirt and that they would have to work their way up the depth chart. That won't work at Florida. I doubt he takes the same approach there. He did what he thought would work at State, and he appears to have been right.
Mooreheads staff has a different approach. It looks good on paper. Will it pan out? We'll see. But I like his approach too.

This is incorrect. Moorhead wasn't brought here to stay 5 years and build a program. The program is built and is here. Look at the stars it has put in the league the last 6-7 years. He's here to maintain and take the next step.

He is still missing Dan...

Tony, that has been my opinion on CDM too. He used a strategy that he felt would work at State and it did.
It will not work at UF.
Moorhead now has the advantage of what Mullen did at State and should be able to build on it. IMO, he will still focus on MS first as he should but now with the credibility that State has with recruits, he can expand our recruiting farther out than what it used to be.
Moorhead seems to be a perfect fit at State for the future but like any new coach/staff , there will be some growing pains here.
The pressure will be on Mullen at Florida but they will need to exercise extreme patience over the 3-4 years. His offense is very complicated and it will take time to implement. It will not be an overnight process. If they give him 5 years, then look out Florida will be a powerhouse for years to come.

Is he using the same strategy at UF?

Mullen’s offense takes a season to work out the bugs. Not 3. Well, as long as he has a QB that fits his system. I don’t think FL has to be patient past this year. They will see results next season unless he is just bare at QB.
