Does Auburn have a lot of guys returning or are they losing any of their best players?
If the Auburn team is better or equal to their team last year, they should be able to win at home.
If they're worse than last year, I think it will be very close. LSU winning this away game would be impressive.

I'll take AU in AU....BIG. REAL B
Auburn SHOULD win.
But they also should have blown LSU out of Tiger Stadium last year but Gus managed to come from ahead to lose to Ed fricking Orgeron.
This game will be a toss up... and I fully expect LSU to be awful next year.

Should be a great game. A must win for both coaches. At JHS, I think AU takes it.

I saw the situation Ensminger was in at AU in 2003. By midseason he had them playing well, but they started poorly.
In September of 2003 Ensminger had been on campus at AU for less than a year, and was the QB coach.
This September Ensminger will have been at LSU for 8 years, with some interim OC under his belt.
I think he has a better idea of what he has to work with this year at LSU than he did at AU in 2003. It's a totally different situation.

Considering Auburn had full control of the game last year until Gus went full retard

Full control of the game for just under ONE quarter.
AU had 161 yards, and 6 points after the first quarter of the game, LSU had 316 yards and 27 points after the first quarter.
Losing control in the 1st quarter isn't having full control of the game at all - in any sense.

He was the CO-OC. He had 3 future first round picks and scored a total of 3 points in the first two games of the year.

How long had he been on campus to evaluate his talent?

In 2003?
He was at West Monroe HS or some shite in 2002. He couldn't have had that long. He had less than a year at AU in Sep.2003, and he's been at LSU for 8. That's my point, the two situations are in no way comparable.

Auburns season will come down to their OL play. You know they have a good QB and defense but nearly every team puts up at least 20-24 points now due to the offenses and changes in the game. Can auburn match that after losing Johnson and being inexperienced on the OL. I think LSU wins as of now but I think it’s close.

Yeah I remember that. LSU scores, wins the game time expires. Aubie refs huddle up and go "Oh wait, Auburn wins"
"Time expired before LSU scored the game winner" How home-cooking/ Waffle House weak !
Les deserved better .
