If money had been exchanged then he would have been ineligible.
Think of Rueben Foster, we were accused of getting his mom money, Trooper was dirty. So Reuben should have been ineligible at Bama for the sins at Auburn?!! Bama should be on probation even though they did nothing??? Really?

So his dad shopped him to other schools, but turned down all the money he was asking for so he could instead go to Auburn for free?
