Noa Pola-Gates: "It was a great visit for me and I know they have been pushing hard from Day 1, so that means a lot. I had a bird's eye view of the Walk of Champions on Saturday before the Iron Bowl and that was just simply amazing. I like all the coaches, they see me being a big part of their secondary in the future and I really like it there.

"But honestly, other schools are making it real difficult for me right now as well because I liked all the visits. I'll keep thinking about everything and just weighing the options. ASU, Penn State, Nebraska and USC are all coming in for in-home visits this week."

Pola-Gates has OVd Arizona St, Nebraska and Penn St and will likely OV USC in Dec. He has a cousin who's a safety at USC, and ASU & USC are contenders for his 2019 4* DT cousin. He also has a cousin on Nebraska's softball team.

It sounds like Pola-Gates might not be as likely now to choose as Bama as he had been. Bama staff is expected to visit him in-home next week.

Ranking South's most important recent commitments

quote:

With less than a month to go until the Early Signing Period (December 19-21), decisions are being made.

Thanksgiving week was a big one for some of the top recruits in the South and we take a look at the top eight commitments by prospects from Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi from last week.

Don't be upset that Chris Braswell isn't on this list. He isn't from the South.
