Other important prospects headed to Tuscaloosa this weekend 

Several elite recruits in the 2019 and 2020 classes announced on Twitter that they’ll visit Alabama this weekend for the Tide’s junior day. Here are the recruits expected to attend the event:

4-star safety Cortez Andrews — Andrews was close to committing to Alabama at one point. It’s unclear where he stands on the defensive back board now that Derrick Ansley left for the Oakland Raiders.

4-star safety Trikweze Bridges — Bridges had a verbal offer from Ansley, but the in-state prospect will likely need to camp this summer to receive a committable offer.

3-star cornerback DJ James — Another in-state prospect. James doesn’t have an offer from the Tide just yet.

Other prospects who have confirmed will be in attendance are:
5-star tackle commit Pierce Quick,
4-star linebacker commit King Mwikuta,
4-star defensive end Nathan Pickering,
4-star cornerback Christian Williams,
4-star safety Noa Pola-Gates and
4-star tackle Xavier Truss.
