You misunderstood him, I think. He was saying that some kids might prefer to play for a younger, dynamic coach if a championship is possible.

I'm not sure it gives UGA an edge. Maybe, but playing for a legend is a huge draw. Who wouldn't want to say they played for Bear Bryant, for instance? Nick Saban? You better believe it!
