Yeah that's a good one. I actually remember watching that game

Not sure if this fits, but 6 TDs is 6 TDs. Although he only had 40 yards rushing, 5 catches for 37 yards receiving, and was 1/1 passing for 42 yards.

One of ours is Jason Barnes. WR who completely lit up Ole Miss in 2007 or 2008 I believe then did nothing rest of career. I guess the same can be said for his QB that day Chris Smelley too.

Andrew Zow, he kicked our butt in the 2001 Iron Bowl.

Trevor Knight vs. Alabama 2013

Every Alabama linebacker.
They have one good year in college to never be heard of again.

Here's one for Bama fans. Brian Motley. He actually never played in a game, but Saban commented on him a few times after practice as a player who was making strides. The forums started to blow up on him as the next great player at Bama. It however never came to pass; as I said I don't think he ever played a down.

Erik "the fade" Kimrey
Threw one pass against then-ranked MSU in 2000, a 25-yd fade on 4th down for a game-winning TD. I think that was his only career TD, I could be wrong.

Ricky Jean-Francois, was academically ineligible all season in 2007. Played the BCS championship game and was defensive MVP. Had an unremarkable year the next year before going pro, but has turned out to be a pretty good journeyman D-Lineman in the league.

Wonders don't get much more one hit than this guy.
Edit: I do want to tell Auburn fans that I was going to add Cam too, but didn't. You're welcome for my tact and restraint.

We had a DT named Torrey Davis on our '08 Championship team.
He broke free and made a 4th and 1 stop when Oklahoma went for it at the 1-yd line that was probably the difference in the game.
He literally did nothing else in his entire time at Florida before he was basically kicked off the team.
Scholarship well spent.

Trent Thompson - 5.5 career sacks, with 3 coming in one game against a shitty TCU team in the Toilet Bowl. Never lived up to the hype

Duron Carter was a one practice wonder. Does that count?
Mike Ford was a 2 hit recruiting list 5-star wonder that never actually showed up on campus
