Like I said though, UGA and Auburn are have similar amounts of success. Probably why each side of the rivalry is so eager to get one over on the other

It is almost eerily similar. I think (According to winsipedia) Georgia is slightly ahead in most categories, but they are very, very close. Almost carbon copies.

Once again, not a single actual retort. Just trolls as usual. I can’t wait to come back to this post in a year.

The retort is all the things you mentioned still don't equate to a national title team. Other teams across the country can say the exact same thing as you.

Alabama returns 4/5 of their O-line and replaces the 1 with a pick of 2 5-star sophomores. Alabama returns their best RB. Alabama returns basically a 3-deep on defense in the Front 7. Alabama just won the national title game behind true freshmen at QB, RB, TE, WRs (3) and LT.

So, even within your own conference there is a retort - and that doesn't include teams from around the country. And I think Georgia will be very good again next year and from here on out. But "yep winning the national title", LOL.

3. Our DL will be straight nasty next year. With Thompson, and Ledbetter likely returning, then adding in Clark, carter and Marshall. Not to mention Wyatt and Beal from last year, and cox from this year.

Thompson's not coming back next year or so he just messaged.

ETA (just reduced the post down to the facts)

At this moment I may not agree fully with the OP's premise. But, sometimes as a fan you have to be confident and you have to be fricking crazy sometimes and just put out what you're feeling. If UGA does win it next year, you will have this post and all downvoters will feel stupid. If you guys don't make it, who's going to remember this post anyways.

Have an upvote, OP.

I feel like this is what people have been hoping for the last 10 years.

Yess and sadly, as long as Saban is coach. It will always be the case.

Putting together a great run of teams while Saban is also at Alabama is about like LeBron going back to Cleveland only to find one of the greatest teams ever in the Warriors waiting for him in the finals every year.

What does Bama have to do with UGA??

UGA returns 4 of their 5 OL, and has multiple 5 stars fighting for the one spot. We return the best freshman RB in the SEC with 2 solid backups, and the 2 best RB’s in the 2018 class.

We return a lot on defense as well, and have tons of 5 stars battling it out for the remaining spots. If Roquan comes back(I highly doubt it) we would be even better than this year.

UGA finished no. 2 and could have easily won the NC behind freshman at QB, RB, and 2 spots on the OL.

None of what you said is a retort. Try again.

Georgia fans can’t see that it was literally a once in a lifetime/generation type game for them. They won’t be back for another 30 years.

Nope. Sorry, just so you want it to be true you believe it. Get used to disappointment. My bad you are a Georgia fan you are used to disappointment.

Why would he come back? Isn’t he a projected 1st rounder?

If you guys do I’ll be impressed for the sheer fact that it’s hard to keep a consistent group of coaches together after successful years. You also find out if your players get complacent, much like Florida’s 2009 defense. Good luck to ya

I get what you mean, but as long as smart isnt a total dbag to work for chaney/pittman combo will stay at uga for as long as uga wants them.

Tucker will leave, but smart can handle that. Kind of like saban has.
