Should be a great game of runs and lots of points. Auburn is a top 15 team imo and are vastly underrated. 94-88 Auburn

A Win Would
• Give Arkansas a perfect 5-0 record at Auburn Arena under Coach Anderson.
• Send Arkansas to a 15-9 record as a ranked team under Coach Anderson.
• Give Arkansas its 10th win over Auburn in the last 11 meetings dating back to a season sweep of the Tigers during the 2010-11 campaign.
The Best Guards In The Nation
• In the upset win against No. 19 Tennessee, Daryl Macon’s 33 points and Jaylen Barford’s 28 points marked the first time Arkansas has had two 28-point scorers in an SEC game.

Auburn
-Auburn has started the season 13-1 for the first time since the 1999-2000 season (16-1). The Tigers are on an 11-game winning streak for the first time since Dec. 1, 1999
-Jan. 19, 2000 (won 14 straight). Auburn has also amassed 12 wins before the new year for the third time in program history (1995-96, 1998-99). The 11-game win streak marks the third-longest active streak in the country (Michigan State, West Virginia: 13)
-During Auburn’s 11-game winning streak, the Tigers have outshot opponents .460-.401. Auburn has also been active on defense, averaging 7.3 steals and 6.4 blocks in the last 11 games. The Tigers have had seven players average 7.0 points or more per game in Mustapha Heron (17.6), Bryce Brown (15.2), Jared Harper (13.0), Desean Murray (10.1) and Chuma Okeke (8.2). Auburn has also led for 372:12 out of 440 min. (85%).
-Auburn is looking for its first 2-0 start in SEC play since 2012-13 when the Tigers won their first two league games. It would be just the third time Auburn has started 2-0 in SEC play in the last 18 years (4-0 in 2002-03 and 2-0 in 2012-13)

If Auburn doesn't out rebound Arkansas then the pigs win.

i'm going out on a limb and saying the team with the most points usually will win.
Hopefully, this won't be a freethrow shooting contest.

Gonna be a fun game. Arky should win based on the way the game will flow. Both teams like to run and press. Arky has better guards, but AU has the home ref cooking advantage. It should be a tight game.

I think the rebound differential and the points differential will be the same.

I hope Barfield gets his groove back today- didn’t like seeing that baby like he was in the MSU game.

Should be a great game. Given how the refs have been calling things for the home team I give Auburn the edge.
Arkansas needs to establish a low post presence to win. Auburn needs to play tight defense on the Hog's outside shooters to keep our three point bombers from going off.

None of that matters with SEC officiating.
Home team should always win in their eyes

Based on those numbers AU will win by 8-10.

This game worries me. Hogs need to take care of the ball against this team. They've been pretty good about not turning the ball over so far this year and they're gonna need a good effort today.
What worries me are some of the remarks I heard our players saying before the Miss State game about how they shoulda been ranked awhile back. Then they promptly lost their next game and are staring at another tough one today.
Take care of the ball, rebound better, establish a post game, see if they can get Auburn in foul trouble. Biggest problem in the last game was they never really took the ball to the rack in hopes of drawing fouls. It was like they settled for jumpers all night thinking they'll shoot their way to a win. That doesn't work.
They're perfectly capable of beating Auburn on the road.

Seems like we're way better this year than last. These stats don't show that though.
This team is fun and I like that, but it also leads to sloppy mistakes. If we are sloppy tonight, we will lose.
From what I've seen of Auburn, they look like a complete team, playing together and executing.
With playing them at home and with what I just said, I believe Auburn wins. I'm hoping that isn't the case though for our team.

The other thing I meant to say in my last post is we need CJ Jones to get his groove back. Arkansas can only play their style of ball if they're getting good production off the bench.
If your game plan is to make the game sloppy, you gotta have the players on the bench to come in and produce late in the game. If our bench is producing we can sell out to get Auburn in foul trouble and win with our depth.
