If you pull two ball players over, or college students, and you find weed in the car, they were either smoking it or selling it. That's not an accident or the result of a "borrowed car".

You can state facts, good for you. So can I, you honestly sound like a prick. Come on, you gotta admit this was bullshite if the picture is accurate.

Rumors that multiple were administered and he's passed them all... haven't seen it officially reported yet.
The DUI against Stanley was also dropped, so that's pretty official that he passed the tests.

CNB, sometimes you're a dick, but I just chalk that up to good ol' fashioned trolling, but like this time and most times I you for bringing the, albeit snarky, level headed logic to the thread. Again

As a Colorado resident all I can say is "wow".
It wont take me a week to see someone smoking more than that while walking down the street or in front of a restaurant within 20 feet of an officer and the officer wouldn't even notice or bother to care.
But hey, its the Devil's lettuce.. burn him at the stake now.

I don't think my dog could get high on that amount.

How is he even supposed to see that at midnight. Not even his car.
He would have smelled it. Clearly the guy whose car it was wouldn't claim it, which is why he was charged if I had to guess. When it's in a car, and no one takes ownership, cops typically just charge everyone

I guarantee you that everyone on tRant has gotten into a car with at least that much weed in it.
I'm not sure how that's relevant

Seems like a drug test should be mandatory after such an incident. Was a drug test administered?
It's not illegal to be high. It's illegal to possess marijuana.

I was in Aspen in 1971. We went to the Joe Cocker movie, Mad Dogs and Englishmen. Before the film started the projectionist came on and asked people not to smoke in the theater but, if someone has good shite, bring it up to the projection booth.
In 1974 an Aspen cop caught me buying an ounce. The cop asked me to not smoke in the park but go back to where I was staying.
Last year I was with a group of friends in Colorado and we all bought legally.
Prohibition is stupid. If I'm on a jury there will never be a conviction for possession or sale.
I've never been arrested.

I dunno...it kinda looks like “high potency” marijuana to me. It’s probably got the equivalent of ten normal marijuana cigarettes
:sarcasm: for the retards

Clearly you didn't watch the actual footage where Stanley is very specific in calling out that it was his... they charged him anyways simply because this was in the passenger seat. The "strong smell" comments are a common tactic for police to engage in less than legal search/seizure practices. Stanley's DUI has been dropped and all charges on Natrez have been dropped... I still think if he smelled it at all, it was a poor decision to get in the car, but hardly one that merits an arrest when the driver claims ownership over that small of a quantity.

If you catch a running back on video hitting a woman, what does that mean?

just saw this.. I've never been a weed guy and admittedly was all caught up in the bible belt mentality/devil's lettuce stuff.
Thankfully I overcame my influences of govt and church and realized weed is on par with a glass of wine or a beer in moderation.
Govt signs off on synthetic heroin like its aspirin, but gotdam if you think you are going to light up.
Scary percentage of the NFL is hooked on pain killers for life, but hit a blunt and you might as well have knocked off a convenient store.
