The defensive end is very much adjustable
Well sure...I mean, your DL was getting pushed around all game by our OL...WR's were handling their edge blocks well also...you could bring more guys into the box...but with a balanced team, it means you are more vulnerable to the pass...which the scouting report says is the last thing you want to do. UGA's strength is stopping the run...Achilles heal, defending the pass. Taking resources out of pass defense to defend the run isn't a recipe for success IMO.
I think UGA could have more luck on offense with quick passes and misdirection plays that hurt AU's over pursuit. I'm sure it will be closer if AU gets to Atlanta...but dang...it's hard to imagine that this kind of domination on both sides of the LOS can be fixed by then.
Having said that, I think UGA's 3 year outlook is the best in the conference...second only to maybe Bama

When Georgia went conservative, which is what normally works vs a Malzahn offense, it would've worked okay if there wasn't back to back mistakes that are as bad as a turnover.
Then Georgia's coaches just went in panic mode and looked awful on defense. The game had three parts on the defensive end, overcompensating for Stidham as a passer, what I said above, and this. It was overthought, fixable, but not completely fixable due to defensive backfield issues.
