Most of the crime happens in North Baton Rouge not around campus. Although, there is some crime around campus.
Baton Rouge is a city unlike most sec towns. Cities have higher crime rates. Refer to Chicago, New Orleans, etc.
Also, do people even go to Fayetteville? I have a hard time believing more visiting fans go there than BR, and no way tourism is close.
