OK, I've made a decision on Kennedy. Given that the school didn't renew an extended contract during the off-season, that his recruiting budget is reportedly last in the SEC along with monies for assistant coaches, I think he's been dealt an extremely poor hand. The aforementioned effectively handicapped him this season with the loss of two good recruits (Pickett to Georgetown and the other to Pitt) that woulda/coulda been major contributors this season. Just last night alone all we heard was how effective Auburn is in the second half because of their depth. I'd say it showed last night. So if and until we have at first a solid replacement or we decide to really back him by clearing up what I've mentioned above, I think "running him off" would be a mistake and we can't continue to expect much, much more just on the back of a new building but with a gutted coaching staff with no long term backing.
