quote:
Mark Ingram- 5 carries for 17 yards
Led the team in offensive production, as he also had 5 catches for 54 yards. Also averaged more than 5 YPC last year, 3rd in the entire league.
quote:
Derrick Henry- 6 carries for 25 yards
Backing up Demarco Murray and averaging more YPC than Fournette.
quote:
Eddie Lacy- 5 carries for 3 yards
First game in Seattle. Russel Wilson led the team in rushing because the OL was trash.
quote:
Trent Richardson- out of the league
Bust

TJ Yeldon
Soon to be traded, and will likely never be a feature back. Who cares.

No one cares. Fournette > Yeldon

You guys swallow this same bait every time some clown decides to slide it on the hook. Anybody with shite for brains knows its nonsense.

Yet, Henry holds the single season SEC rushing record, Heisman trophy, and Championship rings. When Bama offense was struggling, Henry literally carried them on his back to the playoffs.
When LSU's offense was struggling and when LSU needed Fornette the most, he choked.

Because Alabama recruits at and coaches at a much higher level than you scrubs and LSU players are vastly underdeveloped and don't reach their true potential until they get real coaching in the NFL. You see recruits come to Alabama where we have the coaching to mask your deficiencies and get you paid in the NFL even though you may not deserve it. At LSU you're underdeveloped and have no college hardware to go with it.

Ingram, Lacy, and Henry are not "busts"
The first two have had success. The latter is just starting.
I don't think you know what "busts" mean

That wasn't the topic and what a weird random argument to make.
Julio > Jarvis Landry (and OBJ) ... see how dumb these obvious player comparisons are?

I know, but pulling up some easy stats and arguing mindless dribble while i drink my coffee is a nice way to start the day.

Bama fans are going to defend their guys and everyone knows that. At the end of the season, Alabama will have more to show in awards and accolades than any other team in both the NFL and college football. Deal with it.

And here's the spin when he realizes his YPC argument holds no weight.
Classic.

Touting the accomplishments of former players in the NFL to make you feel good about your college team seems weird to me on a college board.

If you make an equal comparison, Beckham is actually better than Julio. No receiver in NFL history has statistically been better than Beckham through his first three years. That includes Julio

This is the same board that couldn't stop talking about how overrated Fournette was, so no, it isn't weird for people to come back and rub their faces in it.

I'd say that any back that can stay in the league regardless is not a bust. It's tough for RB's. You stay on a 53 man roster then you are good

Oh wow. That's just sad.
