In Bert's defense (something you won't ever hear me say), Chaney was being cute and stupid in the first half of that game before Bert laid the law down at halftime.

They couldn't stop our running game between the tackles, literally could not tackle Williams or Collins on first contact, and we were running for 8 to 9 yards a clip. Chaney ran that stupid end-around, which Hatcher fumbled, and cost us points. We came out in the second half and ran the ball down their throats and played keep-away.

People forget that we were only up by 7 at halftime and that it was a very loseable game at that point, the kind which Chaney always fricked up.
