It worked out well for Juju Smith-Schuester. It's not like we're breaking new ground here.

Is someone really making fun of a team for having depth?

Turn him onto a WR?
Dude had 38 catches for 700 yds in 2016 while starting at Saftey.

Despite the fact that he has a barely serviceable QB?
Sure because there is such a strong correlation between these two...
Oh wait... Maybe its because he is trying to get his best athletes on the field... you know, like most good coaches do...

I think St has arm troubles. Etling had a better YPC and PC% that your guy. Not to forget QB rating.

yes can you believe this shite? Well when you are stacked at safety, and corner back then you can move some of these 5 stars around a bit so they don't get so bored with all the talent here. And Grant Delpit and Todd Harris says hello. You remember Harris don't you? The safety bama wanted.

quote:true. but, we also had coach nutt putting jason peters at TE. And he wanted to put scantron at TE, too.
Many years ago, Coach Bear Bryant had one of the top QB recruits in the country and he moved him to safety. Tommy Wilcox became a consensus AA at the position. The coaches are better at seeing talent than we are.

I think most fans would be surprised at what position some of their favorite players started off at. Corey Webster was a WR, Josh Reed a RB (not much of a stretch), Marcus Spears a TE. It just happens.

This is surely the first time a player has ever changed positions in college.
Posted on 8/1/17 at 12:29 pm to Eli Goldfinger
Yeah he did, because we have another top freshman safety named grant delpit from houston that's a beast and is prob better than stevens is at safety...that's no bs. Jacoby is a hell of a talent st receiver too and will prob see the field on offense this year at that spot. It's a good move. He can always go play defense next year or whenever, this year he's a better talent for lsu on offense.

Dale Brown once turned a McDonalds All-American center named Stanley Roberts into a power forward because of a guy named Shaquille O'Neal. shite happens when you have so much talent.

Interesting.
I knew this info since I am a LSU fan and follow LSU.
You are a Bama fan and I guess follow LSU as well.
What's going on with Bama ball, I don't follow teams that are irrelevant in my fandom.
And please keep us informed on what is going on at LSU.

Nick Saban would never do such a thing.
