A progressive customer totalled my car in 2015. They gave me more than what I would have taken, a few hundred more than what I could have replaced it for. It was a smooth process. No medical bills, no question on who was at fault. Just throwing that out there.
Actually there was question of fault, because the driver refused to respond to prog's attempts to contact and acknowledge... so they paid me and went after that bitch with malice.

They paid me for my car...that part was easy. No question of fault. Rear ended, totaled...here's your money. My rear bumper looked like a bird a kid would draw in kindergarten.
My issue is the best offer the initial adjuster made before transferring me to a different department was woefully inadequate to cover just the medical bills I already have.
