Sounds good. Good luck...

People wrote off UF last year too and yet there they were at the end of the year in Atlanta. McElwain has done an impressive job given his lack of talent at QB and a patchwork Oline 2 years ago. If Zaire dials it in under Nuss they could be really good this year. Good WRs, a strong RB, experience on Oline is a good recipe for success.
I mean until someone knocks UF off you have to like them in preseason. Especially since their offense should be a little more composed this year. If the defense only manages to take half a step back, I agree 11-1 or 10-2 could be on the horizon which would put them in Atlanta again.
UT has a new QB, RBs and some replacements to make on D. Also a new OC. And Butch Jones just hasnt shown me that his teams have that edge to win in a tight game. I thought they turned the corner vs. UGA last year with the tough comeback on the road but fell off later in the year. Lots of lockerroom distractions as well with the whole Hurd debacle.
UGA should be very strong on the front 7 but their DB's were only serviceable at times last year. Obviously RB is set but until their Oline proves they have improved the RB combo should be discounted. Perhaps a couple new freshmen could step up but until they prove it as well you cant possibly predict greatness without taking a snap of SEC football. Eason also needs to do some improving. Also Cheney...a handicap that AR fans warned about that absolutely proved he hasnt changed his propensity to abandon the run.

I keep seeing this. The numbers don't bear it out.
UGA had 533 rushing plays in 2016. They attempted 386 passes. Even if you take away the 33 rushing plays of Eason and add them to the passing plays it is still 500 to 419.

It is not that he doesnt run the ball. Its when he abandons the run in key situations. Or calls a boneheaded run play completely misusing personnel. For example, last year at home vs. Vandy 4th and 3. He puts Sony and Chubb on the field. Instead of the play going to Chubb who is much more capable of the tough yardage, he calls a play which makes Chubb block for Sony. They dont get the 1st down and game over.
Vs. Auburn a dumbass WR pass to a WR in the endzone for an INT. Didnt cost them the game but easily could have.
Vs. GT with time winding down 2nd and 7? They call a time out presnap after lining up to run a play. Dumb for stopping the clock. They come out of the time out and line up the same way as the play before the snap. Its a pass. Dumber. Our DB read the play before the timeout and when they came out and lined up the same way he was in position to intercept. Dumbest. Should have kept running the ball and running clock. Instead GT intercepts and wins the game.
I am sure there are other examples. His situational playcalling is pretty mindnumbing at times.

UF has less talent on offense then TN and UGA. FYI

If Georgia doesn't win the East this year Kirby Smart should be fired on the spot. It is so ripe for the picking. They have salty defense, the best running back in the East, and a pro prospect quarterback.

This was actually 4th and 1 with the game on the line. Chaney lined us up in an I formation with Chubb at fullback and McKenzie at running back. Vandy called timeout. Georgia came back out in the same formation and ran a toss sweep to Mckenzie. Stopped for no gain. We lose. frick Chaney.

And a giant question mark at O line. I agree that I think we should win the East but a bad offensive line can ruin a lot of things for a good team. If they are solid we should be really good. If not...

The East is wide open therefore a mediocre UF will win by default. That's just the way it is

My bad. Had that a little mixed up. Its actually worse that he put mckenzie in. That kid is what 170 soaking wet? Just a dumb call all around.

Dobb just picked UF on ATL sports radio, but said UGA "could" win it and UT is the dark horse.
Says Gus has his QB and LSU is unknown, so Bama wins the West.
Says tOSU is the only match to Bama.

He picked us in 2011 because we hired Charlie Weis. Not even joking. He said it on TV.

Does it really matter who the East's sacrificial lamb is?

UF won the east the last 2 years and they have a better offense this year. So they should be the favorite, Georgia has the talent but they may have Muschamp 2.0.
