Every year. Host site and total fail in post season. Maybe Fsu should try not being a host. 27 trips to ws and never won it.

Things went about as well as any Aggie could have hoped for yesterday.
We got a win using 1 starter(ace) and 1 bullpen arm (46 pitches in 3+ inning save) even though there were multiple rain delays and a slick arse black turf mound. Then in the nightcap, 4 seed Iowa upset 1 seed UH and both teams used up a bunch of pitching. I know Iowa is damn good for a 4 seed (RPI-71, won 9 of last 11), but its always better to play the 4 vs 1.

I can update the thread for today's games but I won't be able to update as consistently as I did yesterday. Contrary to popular belief, I do go outside occasionally
Up to y'all if you want me to just update with the schedule and all of that or if someone who has the time to give out actual updates wants to start a new thread.

You know I'm just playing.
Do people really need a minute by minute update? No. They can simply use google to get up-to-date scores. frick em.

Thanks! Was wondering why that was the only one that didn't have a channel listed

Forecast for the Florida game tonight looks better now. If it gets delayed, it won't be by much.
Tomorrow, on the other hand... looks pretty grim, Monday looks even worse.

Game threads are easier because it is a set 2 or 3 hours. Post season are a much bigger commitment as it can go for days or weeks. CNB is doing alright and nobody should fault him if he takes a few in the sunshine. At least he does not abandon the thread when his team is out like some.
CNB, missed seeing you when I was in Columbia and Charleston but I did eat at Bertha's and that is some seriously good food!

No knock, CNB, but how the frick did South Carolina not make the field? Their RPI was 32.... If this is basketball, they're in.
Makes no sense. A team like Michigan, with a shittier RPI is in, but for some reason, South Carolina didn't make it in? 64 teams in this field and #32 RPI doesn't make it in? Maybe I don't get the committee at all, but seems fricked up to me.
Edit: Teams like Auburn and A&M got in with RPIs of 45 and 46. Makes zero sense.

RPI isn't the end all be all for the selection committee and it shouldn't be. USC won 2 SEC series all year and lost the head to head to Auburn. 13 conference wins isn't going to get you in very often.
