Florida will never be elite again because:
1. Urban Meyer isn't there to let criminals roam free
2. Jim McElwain is too busy straddling Sharks naked
3. Jim McElwain looks like a beaver
4. Florida can't stop instate recruits from going to better options in Florida like Miami or Florida State
5. They pu$$y out of games against mediocre at best programs like LSU

I think Coach O has already proven himself in recruiting, bringing in an outstanding staff, and changing the culture and direction of the program.
Lets act like LSU didn't have an outstanding staff before Miles was fired...

Yeah really, O is a horseshite hire, sad how lsu fans try and spin it otherwise.

Not sure why a fan of a program with 11 national championships feels threatened by a fan of a program with 3 national championships.
Saying Florida will never be elite again is ludicrous. They will always be Elite. They will have down periods like all successful programs. But no matter what, thug or no thugs, Florida is already an established elite program.

I think this was "tongue in cheek" thread by OP. He even caught the angry Largemouth Bass Rohan Gravy at the dock.

It's just another sad example of Insecure U

Bringing in a dynamic OC that is changing our entire offense is kind of a big deal!
Securing who might be the best recruiter in the country is kind of a big deal!
I would think bammers and gaytors would recognize this....guess not

And McElwain is a worse coach.
Muschamp as a HC:
34-28 (all in the SECe)
McElwain as a HC:
41-24 (19-8 in the SECe)
You were saying...

You guys hired St Nick Saban away from Alabama?

Florida easily has the tools to get back to elite status. With that said, I don't believe McElwain is the guy that will take them back to that level.
The last time Florida had a team that was elite was 2009. Since then, there's been a lot of mediocre. Even their "good" teams have looked soft at times.
Their best team Post-Tebow was the 2012 team. But that team still got waxed by Louisville in a bowl game. They only beat Missouri (5-7) and Louisiana Lafayette each by a single touchdown. That team falls in line with the two most recent Florida teams: Decent record but just not very impressive when watching them.

Not referring to HC's....
Nick Saban is obviously the best recruiting HC in the country.

I love you sarcasm. You baited the hook nicely for the haters.

We kicked their arse all day in that game. If Orgeron makes the right call, Florida loses.
Here we go again, please stop, just stop. You lost, get over it. If if's and butts were acorns and nuts....... you know the rest.
You do have a great baseball team! Congrats on the SEC tourney championship. See you in Omaha!

Bama is on a great run, when that run ends, it will be the Gators that end it! Sooner or later, it will happen.

There's been a lot of weird threads about Florida lately.
There is an uneasy fear of UF arising in the SECr. Remember how everyone hated us when Spurrier was HBC and when Urban Lyer was HC? It's happening again. Fear breeds hatred. I love it! Bring it on, Losers.

4 straight posts? Looks like the jimmies have been rustled.
On a side note, Shark Humper lost to Side-show Butch, something your previous boy Muschamp has managed to avoid up to this point.
Just saying...he might not be the one.

Like I said Urban was only successful at Florida because he only recruited THUGS. Without Thugs spurrier would have the only Florida national championship.
So, what does it mean when he whipped Bama's arse with Buckeye talent?

I'd bet at least 80% of your posts since the conclusion of the 2016 season involve you bashing Coach O.
