Otherwise known as The Game of the Century. I was there that night and the atmosphere was intense throughout. Probably the most tense I have ever been for a game, before or ever since.
LINK
The pre-game festivities were awesome as I hung out at the Ferg for much of the day, watching this cajun chef from Louisiana making the world's largest pot of gumbo. Met a lot of good and decent LSU peeps who were just as nervous as I was.
We so choked this game away. Cade Foster missed multiple field goals that he had been making all year as well as the year before. The dude was never clutch in big games.

Chavis went from holding Alabama to zero touchdowns to a 50 burger from LSU with an interim OC.

Brad Wing was the MVP of that game

Cade knew this wasn't a big game. It didn't even matter.

Please provide stats. All fg made vs all he missed in his career

LSU won the battle, Bama won the war.

I love games like this and 10-0. Getting a first down is so huge - not just because you might score, but because you get a chance to pin them 10 yards further back after you punt.

I was there. Greatest game I've ever seen. Just trying to get a first down on either defense was fricking ridiculous.

LSU was lucky to win that game, and the LSU players/coaches were way too confident going into the title. I just know they were thinking "We won on the road, we'll surely win in NOLA." If Bama only makes one more of their missed FG's, they win. The LSU offense was pretty ineffective that night

It took me less than three minutes to compile the stats. A quick google search will help you find what you are looking for. He made multiple field goal from 40+ yards in 2010 and was 7-9 that year. He had only attempted 3 field goals in 2011 going into the LSU game.

Down voted because of the typical Alabama fan response to the game

He was a 56% career kicker at bama.
But it was because he choked that one and only game bama lost to lsu

Yes, he was. He was never the same kicker after 11/5. As I said...he made 7 of 9 field goal attempts the year before. Hell...he nailed a 46 yard field goal in the game prior to LSU. It would have been good from 60.

His two misses in 2010 were from 44 and 54.

I have a feeling this will wind up being the longest thread in the OP's illustrious highlight series

He was 71% in 2013, hitting 12 of 17.
