That's still less than Alabama spends on each recruiting class, so I'm gonna say "No."
Yes Aubsessed alter, that is why Alabama has generally out-recruited Auburn for 100 years. Clearly.

No, simply because it would be detrimental to the state. Regardless, wouldn't happen.

In that case, we'd still devastate our biggest rival which would improve our overall chances in SEC play. We're the only East team that has a near-automatic conference loss on their schedule every year which puts us at a true disadvantage against UGA, UF, and every other East team. It would be tough because that's a lot of money to sideline someone but overall the benefit to us would probably make it worth it.
UF loses to LSU almost every year too. Your biggest problem has been losing like 12 years in a row to UF before last year. Not to bama every year.

Maybe those are hermit crabs up in his honker. I'd be a dick too if I had crabs in my nose

For what Dan has done for the university it would be a tough decision. I think there are a couple of big money men that could spare the extra 5 million a year to pay Saban's salary but not sure it would add any long term value. Dan is the second best coach in the country... and by the time Saban retires he will be the best coach in the country. He will be the age when Saban started winning championships... Dan is on the right path.

True, true. Maybe I've been harsh and excessively judgmental about the wee fella. My apologies Mr. Saban (I know you read tRant )

LSU is nowhere being near an auto-loss for Florida. I'm sorry but LSU just isn't close to being Alabama -- no one is right now. And while winning the head to head battle is very important, and UF has certainly been a thorn in our side, the division is often decided without regard to the head to head - having an extra SEC loss to BAMA counts the same as having an SEC loss to an East team while an OOC loss to FSU, which is UF's Alabama, doesn't really matter when deciding who goes to Atlanta. Last season UF lost the head to head but still managed to win the division and we've won the division in the past with a loss to Florida. A division winner losing a head to head matchup with another division team yet still going to Atlanta isn't uncommon since all conference losses regardless of division count the same.
This season Tennessee will play both LSU and BAMA. The BAMA game is one we'll all pretty much count as a loss ahead of time while the LSU game will likely be considered a toss-up. UF plays TAMU and LSU which are both toss-ups. With that schedule Florida could easily lose to Tennessee and still win the division again even if they lose to Michigan and Florida St because those are OOC games and they'll likely at least split their two Western Division opponents. UGA has an even sweeter schedule as they play MSU and Auburn.

Wrong way, bud. 16-10
UF leads the series 32-28-3
Since 92 UF leads
Won 9 in a row 88-96
Since 2000 series is 9-8 LSU favor.

He is past his prime. Anyone that would pay him that much money is an idiot.
If that's what the gumps are paying him, well, it's self-illustrating points like this that make me smile.

NYT did a breakdown of how much Alabama has made since he became the coach at Alabama and he is worth double his salary.
