A friend of mine has Masters tickets. He goes every year and sets up on the 18th green. Thur-Sat he's right on the green. But on Sun they let members set their chairs up first. So he ends up about 4 rows back.

Anyhow, when Sergio rolled in that putt, and they panned the camera back, I saw him plain as day with his hands in the air cheering. He was 30 feet from Sergio when he won his Green Jacket.

What is your "I was there" moment that you'll tell your grandkids about? Could be sports, politics, pop culture, etc.

That's a good one.

I was in the stands in Vet Memorial Stadium in 1980 when State stopped Bama several times on the goal line to beat them 6-3.

I was 9. Walked there from my house with my next door neighbor. Who is now a moderately famous radio sports personality.

I think it ended something like a 23 game winning streak for Bama. (someone can correct me on that).

Saints/NY Giants a couple years ago in the Superdome. Brees threw for 7 TD's and Eli threw for 6.

Neither team was all that good, but an epic game nonetheless.

It was actually a 28 game streak. I was 8 and listening to it on the radio.

I was around for the season opener for the Miami Heat after the disappointing 2011 Finals.

O please someone fess up to being at 4th and 25. Tell us about it. Was it gif worthy???

I was at 17-0 when we broke Bielema's inaugural SEC losing streak against LSU. It was my first time in box seats. The crowd rushed the field. The boot was held up for the masses. Pretty magical.

I was born and raised in Augusta, worked the masters plenty of times, but my first time in attendance was on Sunday in 2009. I saw Angel Cabrera beat Kenny Perry in a playoff. He hit into the woods on 18 and had some lucky BS happen to have his ball end up middle of the fairway on the punch out. Got up and down for par and beat Perry on the 2nd play off hole. I actually got tickets again this year for Friday but this was all I could think of... If I saw a playoff Sunday match, Friday isn't going to do anything for me. So I sold those sumbitches.

I was at 4th and 25 and it was absolutely soul crushing. Nobody played defense the entire game.

I was also at what was at the time the longest game ever, th 7 overtime game also against Arkansas that we also lost.

Otherwise haven't seen much sports history of note.

5 OT TSIO
08, 09, and 12 SECCG
and the craziest goal I've seen in soccer when I was playing in high school.

Not that I remember, but my parents took me and my brothers to Florida to watch Apollo 11 take off. I was 3 months old at the time.

My brothers were 5 and 6 at the time...so they can say they remember watching the rocket take off carrying the first men to step foot on the moon...but I still can say that I was there.

September 29, 2001. First win ever over Alabama. Also the last time the goalposts would ever be torn down at Williams-Brice.

I was on the LSU side line when LSU beat Bama in 93 In Bama.

I was on the sideline by the end zone in 07 when Flynn threw the pass to Byrd as time ran out against Auburn.

I also saw Cam run all over LSU and Patrick Peterson at Auburn in 2010? I am an lsu fan, but I rolled the trees with my son just to say I did. The trees were poisoned that year.

I was also at this years Trump Inauguration and got to meet Trump and Ivanka.

Had front row seats on the side of the home dugout for game 3 of the 06 WS between the Cards and Tigers.

That was unbelievable.

I have 2 moments and both were on 17 at Pebble Beach. I was a teen when Jack hit his 1-iron off of the pin. The wind was ridiculous at the time. No one could believe that he pulled an iron. Some guys were hitting drivers.

I was also at 17 when Tom Watson holed his chip. He told his caddy he was going to make it, but the lie looked brutal from where I was standing. I thought bogey was a distinct possibility.

Not really a good thing, but I was at the Daytona 500 on Feb 18, 2001. The GOAT will be missed. RIP

Sept 20, 1998 Camden Yard. The day Cal sat out.

MNF, 2000, I forget the exact date but Troy Aikman was injured by LaVar Arrington, turning out to be the hall of famers last game.

I saw Hank Aaron hit 715 at the old ATLFULCO stadium. His kids went to my HS.
