Only took 43 ounces of Gold to cover the atl government dome.
Pretty sure precious metals are measured in troy ounces not standard ounces.
Too lazy to look it up but seems I remember 12 troy ounces = 16 normal ounces.
As for the Dome, it is probably gold leaf which in the old days was hammered by hand extra thin by cheap indian labor (dot) for the world. stuff is really thin and takes a good hand to actually gold leaf something.

This is the most awkward post I've ever read.
Is there an e-term yet for when people use google and Wikipedia to try and make a point without understanding the topic?

I am really old, don't need to use Google and Wik
When I was much younger the Colonel used to make the real chicken when he came to the house. The crap they serve now at KFC is still crap. If I want real hot chicken I go to Nashville. I will not eat Georgia Gold at KFC because it will just be a big corporation trying to shine a turd and sell it to the masses.
I know about gold leaf as I had an old artist friend in the 60's and 70's who made a nice lick at that trade. Was pretty fascinating and long before Google and Wik.
As for the troy ounce thing, that was back from my past and making a nice lick when Bunker Hunt tried to corner the silver market and I got on that gravy train early.
I probably understand the topic way better than you because I have been very close to the early days of said corporation and knew most of the folks involved. If KFC has made anything of note since about the early 1980's I would be shocked and if you really are a fan of the different types of southern fried chicken, KFC is the last place to go if you want to really experience it.
You don't need an e-term as "old fart" has been around for generations.

Good call. Diganosis changed. Looks like just a simple case of Awkward-Seque-Grandpa-Syndrome here. No big deal.
CheeseGrits, I just heard a man on the Fox Business say Gold was down around $1230 "per ounce". Would you mind grabbing your rotary dial phone and have Miss Sarah patch you through to clarify what kind of ounces he's talking about?
I'm worried he may have accidentally weighed the gold on the same scale he weighs his rutabeggas and squash with..

More awkward seques.
Why would a gainfully employed Mexican-American that's here legally be upset with Trump? Does it have something to do with how chicken is weighed?

That doesn't make sense. They're going after the regional thing.
Next up is probably Florida Sunshine chicken. Chicken with an orange slice on top and sunshine sauce for dipping.

Litigator, If KFC wanted to do a chicken gimmick that was regional to Arkansas, what would the theme be?
Maybe we can come up with something and then pitch it to them and get rich as shite.

I think you may be on to something here. You mentioned rich and in keeping with the Georgia Gold theme focusing on precious earthly elements, how about Arkansas Diamond Chicken?
Maybe have a restaurant near the State Diamond Mine and Old West Diamond Hotel?
I guess we could do something like give away a diamond with each meal but we probably wouldn't be the ones ending up rich if we went that route. Perhaps some chicken cooked in moonshine might be the ticket. Ideas abound.

In the commercials you could have The Colonel all iced up with diamond rings and a diamond grill etc.
But, I think they'll want something different though. Not just a continuation of the earthly element diamond gold thing.
Back to the drawing board...What kind of food or BBQ style is regional and unique to Arkansas?

Seems he wants to build walls around their middle class neighborhoods.
Seems he is a bit too gaudy for them, they are more laid back

Depends on if it is a European chicken or an African chicken and if coconuts are involved.

Let's roll with the Arkansas Slick Fingers idea then.
DC, you'll do the intro. Litigator will handle the presentation and close. Cheese grits is on logistics. And I'll pass out the brochures to the committee and run the slide projector. Get rich on 3...1,2,3 GET RICH!!!

Got a true story from my childhood. I live off of Dahlonega Hwy. in Cumming, and right across the road from my house was a big open field. When they decided to redo the Gold on the Capital, they carried it from Dahlonega to Atlanta via Horse and Buggy, and they camped out in that field across from my house,I was one excited kid
