His current diet is eating everything that doesn't move and he doesn't gain weight & that pisses me off

I told him if he has to go someplace to get his blood monitored every other week, then life isn't too bad.....he agreed.

Ha... I remember the fast metabolism days too! Luckily for me, I have good heart health and I don't have to monitor my diet for cholesterol, sodium, etc. I just have to keep a decent check on things that will affect my blood thickness. Once he gets that down pat and the doc/nurses get his dosage settled, it's not a big deal at all. It'll quickly become his norm. Ask for generic thinner too! I took coumadin for years and it was a lot more expensive than the generic that I'm taking now (which is about 6 bucks for 90 pills).
