I hate watching us play and have for a while. We lack basic fundamentals and that is on the coaches. We absolutely refuse to block out. We help off of three point shooters. It's like we don't ever prepare for the team we are facing. We play junk ball. We have one of the best records we have had in a long time, but when I watch us play we look like a bad team. Couple that with the fact that almost every decent team we have played has dragged their nuts across our faces. I'm off the MA bandwagon. I was so happy he came home, but after 6 years I can't stand to watch his teams play.

No troll at all... Mike's teams don't have the same discipline Nolan's did in the heyday for you all. That was clear when he was at Mizzou and probably his biggest roadblock as a coach while at Mizzou. How tight games are called now in the NCAA has exacerbated that deficiency while at Arkansas. Look, I have fun on the Rant but I have a high amount of respect for your program. I honestly feel no joy seeing him fail like this at this point. It would be much more fun, and better for the SEC, if we were both clicking in roundball.

The fact that it has taken some this long to figure out Mike and To a lesser extent Bert aren't going to be successful is incredible to me. Let's face it, both would have and should have been fired already at a school that doesn't frick around and wants championships.

Sadly though the only way Mike will get fired is if the attendance plummets even more than it has. How long before 1/4 full stadium games start to hurt the program financially?

Probably not that long. Attendance wasn't great but it will plummet after yesterday. I know I have no desire to travel and spend money to watch a team that can't make the tourney.

It is baffling that of the three schools in the SEC that love basketball only Kentucky is doing really well. Missouri and Arkansas being bad or just plain mediocre is lousy for the conference.

I've been saying this the past 3 years.

I thought this years team would be better with Barford and Macon. It's not a player problem, it's a coaching problem.

How Scotty and Lee sit there on the bench and watch this shite show is beyond me.

I'm done, gave my tickets to my neighbor this morning.,

First pitch at Baum is Feb 17th at 3pm

The thing is its not even a coaching problem. He's an above avg coach

.see I have figured this out now. Coach Dolan was a classic fire breather. Players wescared shitless. Of him. Every fire breather has a nice assistant to even things out, that's mike.

But players don't respect nice. They like mike but they don't respect him or fear him enough to bring intensity game in game out

I never wanted Mike. I don't always have an informed opinion on coaching changes but I was familiar with MA because of his history with the school and had listened to some of his press conferences at Mizzou.

People wanting to hire MA to bring back the glory years of Nolan when MA was nothing like Nolan, I didn't see it.

I could only hope I was wrong.

Reminds me of this Trump hire, I'm in the minority on that too. Might be time to divert that money you were saving for a new vehicle towards a backyard bomb shelter.

We don't demand excellence as a fan base, and haven't for quite some time. That isn't lost on our AD, who is quite content with the status quo of mediocrity as long as revenue is healthy and there are program aspects like APR and class attendance to cite. I've said it before that we're too easy on coaches, and a coach can coast on one or two decent years here.

Just a few short weeks ago people on here were already talking themselves into another year of Robb Smith and/Segrest because we had a good defense in 2014. That's absurd and sad.

I might have had to stop watching Arkansas football games if Smith was still the DC. My blood pressure in the second half of games last season was almost certainly at unhealthy levels.

I've been giving my tickets away most of the year...and see no reason at all to renew. If I do want to go to a game for some reason....I'll just find someone to give me theirs.

You can't sell them.

I love the 40 minutes of grab arse....perfect.
