Brock Purdy is taking a mid-week OV to UCF starting on Wednesday. He will be in Tuscaloosa this weekend as scheduled.

Unfortunately, he's probably right. If we had gotten a silent this weekend, these other offers may not be going out. Then again, we could just be covering our bases so we don't end up with nothing at CB on NSD.

Apparently we have a few Bama baws, other than phaz, who live in Arizona and know a little bit more about Purdy's recruitment. Here are a few posts regarding him from some posters on BOL:

Does Surtain have a OV scheduled to LSU before signing day? If not, Bama might have a slight chance. If he does, Bama has 0 chance.

I don't necessarily believe that means we are in bad shape, I think it means we are covering our butt. Look at the recruitment of DWA, we were 100% sure we would get a commit from him and he committed to Texas, then we were 100% sure he was going to sign in the early period and he signs with UTk and we didn't have a contingency plan. I think we are just trying to not get caught with our wanger in our hand.

I think we pull Surtain and land either ITS or Smith. I don't think we have room for all 3 even though I'd like to see all of them in this class.
