I'm an hour behind 99% of you and I'll be sleeping late tomorrow so I just wanted to say Happy Father's Day Bama Board.
I know we've had a few our Bama brothers lose their dads this past year so let's all say a prayer for them because tomorrow is going to be tough.
Chatta, Commander Data and everyone else whose dad passed away this year I'm extremely sorry for your loss. Try to think of all the good times tomorrow and remember you have friends here if you need us.
Thanks man

Thanks bro. I have an empty feeling this morning. I may go work in the yard all day. Appreciate the updates here as well.

Very well said.
I lost my dad when I was 7 so I've never really gotten to celebrate this day. I can't imagine what you guys are feeling today.

WR Joshua Moore committed to Nebraska, had a Bama offer, though he probably had to camp.

Great get for Nebraska. Rilesy is slowly starting to get players from all over like the Cornhuskers of old.
Posted on 6/18/17 at 4:27 pm to My2Bits
They're recruiting better. They have a LONG way to go, though, to get back to national prominence. I still think Riley was a strange hire for them.

Especially being hired at age 63. He's 66 now?
Posted on 6/18/17 at 4:49 pm to CapstoneGrad06
Wow. Didn't know he was that old. Nebraska is a tough place to get top talent these days.

Any news from the camp today? Not hearing much.
Posted on 6/18/17 at 6:26 pm to My2Bits
Well, Emmitt Gooden committed to Arkansas (??????????????????????). Otherwise, I've heard nothing from camp.

Shortly after four-star defensive tackle Emmit Gooden, one of Alabama's top junior college targets, announced a commitment for Arkansas on Sunday night, the Tide put another offer on the table for JUCO defensive tackle Caleb Tremblay, the American River C.C. (Calif.) product announced on Twitter.
Alabama has signed junior college defensive linemen in each of the last four recruiting cycles, and looks intent upon doing so once again in the 2018 class.
Tremblay, while not yet ranked, holds a number of offers including Cal, Syracuse, and Washington.
At 6-foot-5, 275 pounds, Tremblay has three years of eligibility to play two at the next level.
Last season, Tremblay had 30 tackles, including 6.5 tackles for a loss, and three sacks.

Five-star receiver Justyn Ross took a step closer to making a college decision on Sunday night, and both Auburn and Alabama made the cut.
Ross, the state's No. 1 recruit in the 2018 class and the nation's fifth-best receiver, released a list of his top-five schools at 7 p.m. CT. Along with Alabama and Auburn, the Central-Phenix City prospect has Clemson, Florida and Florida State rounding out his top college choices.
At 6-foot-4 and 197 pounds, Ross is a dynamic downfield threat in the passing game. His high school coach, Jamey DuBose, compared him to former Alabama star and current Atlanta Falcons receiver Julio Jones. Last season for the Red Devils, the then-junior hauled in 38 passes for 663 yards and eight touchdowns while often drawing double teams. He earned ASWA Class 7A All-State first-team honors and will be an Under Armour All-American this season.
Ross has made visits to Auburn, Alabama and Clemson this month. He was on the Plains for Big Cat Weekend earlier this month and brought his mother, Charay Franklin, along with him after she recently returned from a tour of duty overseas with the U.S. National Guard. Franklin also joined her son when he made a trip to Tuscaloosa that same weekend for a camp on Alabama's campus.
Last week, Ross took an unofficial visit to Clemson.
While Ross is unlikely to make a commitment until after his senior season, he remains a high priority for both in-state programs. The five-star receiver also has ties to both schools, with former teammates on the roster at Auburn and Alabama. Former Central defensive back John Broussard is a sophomore for the Tigers, while former Red Devils linebacker Markail Benton signed with Alabama in February as part of its 2017 signing class.

Watch out War Eagle: Thompson's Amari Kight, one of the best - and biggest - offensive lineman prospects in the state of Alabama, recently earned an offer from Alabama - the SEC school he idolized as a kid.
Kight now has offers from both in-state SEC schools, as well as Mississippi State. More SEC football offers could follow this summer as the 6-foot-8, 308-pound Kight, a highly-touted recruit in the Class of 2019, continues to make appearances at football camps.
"Really love his work ethic," said Thompson coach Mark Freeman. "He has a desire to be great. Super young man and family. He's a blessing to coach."
Nick Saban and the rest of Roll Tide are intrigued. But they're not alone in the SEC.
Meanwhile, Kight is preparing for his junior season at Thompson where he will play left tackle.
In late May, Kight told AL.dom he does not expect to commit before this fall. Thompson is coming off a 5-5 season under Freeman. This fall will mark Freeman's third season.

Westminster Christian 2018, 6-foot-6 tight end Michael Parker tweeted Saturday night that he has received an offer from Auburn.
The Tigers are the first SEC team to offer the 230-pound Parker, who is the brother of Alabama senior walk-on tight end Jacob Parker.
Michael's other offers include Purdue, Troy, South Alabama, South Florida, Central Florida and Southern Miss.
Parker caught 35 passes for 561 yards - an average of 16 yards per catch - and five touchdowns last season.
"They like his speed and they kind of flirt with the idea of him being a guy who can split out and line up tight," Westminster coach Louis LeBlanc said of college coaches during an interview with AL.com last month. "Hopefully he'll give them an opportunity to line up in multiple personnel groupings but with the same people in the field."

Maurice Robinson says his top two schools are Alabama and LSU, but the dude wants to play QB in college.
He worked out at QB, WR and DB at camp this weekend, but I don't think he has a committable offer at any position.

Alabama may not have many commitments in its 2018 class yet, but the guys it does have onboard are working hard to make sure the Tide will at least be in contention for the top class come National Signing Day.
On Saturday, four-star wide receiver and UA commit Xavier Williams took to Twitter following five-star quarterback Matt Corral's decommitment from USC to remind the Long Beach Poly (Calif.) product about his upcoming visit.

According to a report from 247Sports' Tom Loy, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida are vying for the next commitment from the nation's No. 2 pro-style quarterback. All three are expected to receive visits.
The Bulldogs are the early Crystal Ball favorite in the race for Corral's signature.
At 6-foot-2, 196 pounds, Corral is rated the No. 17 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.
