What Crow said, they had differences.
I doubt he was officially offered the job. Glad to see him land a good job close to home. DGD.

My bad. I thought that's what you meant, but I guess I'm surprised to see we're that low in the first place.

We were in the 50's for a long time, which was causing considerable angst among some. But, as we move deeper into the summer it appears as if we are gaining some momentum and doing quite well. The talent level of the team seems to be in pretty good hands right now. If Kirby's coachign decisions take a step forward we should be in good shape.
We always give players a year or two to get up to speed in the SEC, but wanted instant success from Kirby in year one. Admittedly, I was one of his biggest detractors last season....and will be again if we falter. However,, it is only reasonable to expect there to be a bit of a learning curve, and we should expect Kirby to show improvement in the coming year. I think we will be in good shape.

Was Zamir hurt at all during the game last night? If not, I can't believe how dumb his coaches were to only let him touch the ball <15 times.

Never been a coach, but with his future I'd try to protect him as a coach.
I'd consider it my duty to give my players a chance at the next level and then try to make sure they make it to that level healthy.

Is his where we see HS seniors sit out their final year like college kids do bowl games....

He wasn't hurt but you won't hear me complain if he gets less than 15 carries per game for the rest of the year.

That's still crazy to me. With all the good commits we've got up to this point and we're just now cracking top 30? Of course, it sounds as though we're also still at the stage where a single 4 or 5 star kid being added to the class can jump us 20 spots, so there's that.

Team first. You would not want UGA to do that for our players if we're in the playoff hunt. Now if you're up big or your season is going downhill quick then sure.

Less total commits than teams in front of us. We've got 11. No team in top 10 has less than 16.

We still have fewer commits than most teams near the top. It just seems like we have more because of all the heavy leans and we keep hearing several are going to commit, soon. Our avg, recruit rating is not as high as it was last year, either, but some of that has to do with having a kicker committed and then Wildgoose's rating is dragging us down a bit.
It will start going up a bit soon, though, as some of the heavy leans begin to jump on board. This is a big year, though, as some kids seem to be taking a wait and see approach.
I think the Notre Dame game is going to be a huge game for us. We really need to make a big showing for that game.
Hill worries me a bit, as he has been taking a few visits to Auburn. I still think he is a heavy UGA lean and will be ours, but any time a kid takes multiple visits (Unofficially) to a rival I get nervous.

Gotcha. Unless it's schools down here or some of the Gwinnett schools, I'm usually in the dark on who's who. Rome is the only team on Harrison's schedule that I even recognize.
How is Harrison? Heard it was a young team, but was curious as to what kind of talent Fields is surrounded with.

Yeah, this is what's throwing me off I guess. I don't follow recruiting the way I used to, so I've been under the impression that we had more than we actually do. Thanks for clarifying.

Do we know when Jackson is committing today?
