Decommits that hurt

I know I don't remember all the decommits through the years, but the Ifedi kid that went to A&M is really the only one I can remember that went on to do much at all.
I think Armstrong is going to regret his decision. (think he may find himself with a new coaching staff by his sophomore or junior year).
Gardiner may make some noise.

Goines that same year went to UCLA and started right away. That OL class got decimated right at the end.

That same year there was an OL that went to UCLA. He started early, but then had injury problems later. Also a Texas kid.
Ok beat me to it.

Gardiner is going to be a stud.
Armstrong...whatever. We can find those type of guys.

Knowing that part of these kids decisions has to do with upgrading their Twitter persona, even for just a short while, is frustrating.
You know updating your bio to Notre Dame or Ohio State commit, while updating your picture to you in one of those jerseys is a great feeling and creates an entirely new online you with 10 times the buzz than if you went to Mizzou.
Jafar looked like a J'Mon. Not really upset.
Like others, Gardiner stings. Looks like the real deal.

Yeah, I remembered Goines. Stunk when it happened, but eased as it became obvious Goines had serious injury issues. Don't think he was even able to play out his elgibility if I remember correctly.

Jonathan Williams decommitted the same year as Goines and Ifedi. Having him, Murphy and Hansbrough in the same backfield would have been outstanding.

I had forgotten about Williams. He did turn out to be a big player. Outplayed the higher rated/hyped RB that came in with him.
Good blend of power, speed, and mobility. Would have looked like Christian Okaye to MU fans with the RBs we were moving through at that time.
