A team's history is about as relevant as the shite that comes out of my arse.

I know, MSU has been ranked there more recently than any SEC team not named Alabama.
Wow, a stat I can put in my back pocket. Didn't realize that.
Easy to forget when State got to #1 and proceeded to lose 3 of their next 4.

If State is the bottom (yes), then what does that make Ole Miss? Hell?

All that really matters is what you've done recently, and we are in the West. It's still the best division in the land, and we haven't finished last place in years. I'll take where we've been the last several seasons, when compared to a lot of other programs. That's why calling us a bottom feeder misses the mark.

Has LSU even been in a position to be ranked #1 since the BCS ended?

He has a good defensive mind but his scheme is very confusing to college football players and he's not that good at recruiting.
Yes he had good defenses at Louisville but he had the advantage of bringing in veteran Georgia players that know his scheme, and he took over a good defense when he first got there.
He will not have that at Mississippi State. Unless he's simplified his scheme greatly, while I can see Mississippi State improving on defense, they are going to still mostly struggle.

Doesn't everyone struggle on defense these days?

Are we really going to argue about being ranked #1 a month before the season is over? I can't think of many things more pathetic to beat your chest about.

Why don't you say in the past 3 seasons. It doesn't sound as good, does it?

Did MSU just pull their pants down and give Louisville a robust mushroom tattoo?

Has anyone actually figured out yet WHY Grantham is leaving UL? Working with Petrino is the easy answer, but what's it REALLY about?

Can anybody figure out why Louisville is hiring Sirmon as Grantham's replacement?

Valid question as well.

Tennessee being absolutely terrible is the only reason a Georgia fan can talk a grain of shite.
