What the frick are YOU talking about?

I just asked if anyone ever got mugged during an IB game because yall are talking like its in the middle of Falujah. I have been to many games in the IB and nothing has happened.

Your little 13 and 50% stat had NOTHING to do with what I asked. You just wanted to throw that out there to fit your agenda of blacks are scary monsters.

And how many of those crimes are committed in poor areas? Poor whites, Hispanics and Asians also commit crimes. But because a large percent of blacks live in poverty they committed these crimes and im sure you love throwing up that stat in your Klan meetings.

I don't know, but if I went to Legion Field for another game, I wouldn't leave the parking lot.

I don't know anyone personally who was mugged.

I know of folks, friends of the family and such, whose vehicles were broken into.

When I was young, I used to go to games with my grandad and and uncle. For Legion Field games, we always parked in the same family's lot. They were really nice, plus you could pay an extra $5 to get a BBQ plate and use their bathrooms. My uncle walks out of the bathroom one day and a couple of locals are casually smoking crack in the living room. We found a new place to park.

13 percent of the population.. Hahahahaha!!

Of the Bham Metro area 20 mile radius, maybe.

Within 2 miles of Legion Field, which is the furthest you would park for a game, it is an extremely dangerous area in every direction but east. If you don't live here, you wouldn't know.

FYI, it's probably 90 percent African American!! Who the hell brought up race anyways?!?

Yes, that is one of the lowest income areas in the area and it's full of projects/prostitution/drugs/murders.. Watch the "First 48" on TV..

I'm not a racist, but I will call a spade a spade..

FYI, there are parts of Alabama (and every state) that are 100 percent white and full of meth, prostitution, and murders too! The point of this conversation is the area around Legion Field.. So take your Hillary comments somewhere else.

Notice how the only people that think it was split 50/50 and was actually a neutral field are Bama fans and that Alabama fans are also the only ones who wouldn't want the game played there again.
The fact that there's controversy about it from the people who attended the games there should tell you it wasn't really 50/50

I'm not disputing the claim that the crowds weren't 50/50. Alabama would outdraw Auburn in any city. I just believe the fault lies with Auburn fans, and not some vast ticketing conspiracy by the City.

So Alabama is supposed to give up the revenue of 30,000 tickets at $100 a pop...not to mention paying rental on the stadium...just because a few fans get a nostalgic tingling in their balls? It truly would be one of the stupidest ideas ever, and any future Bama AD should be fired if he even considers it. And I am one who thinks security around the stadium isn't an issue. But there would literally be zero to do pre- and post-game around the stadium. No bars, no restaurants. I get the whole nostalgia thing. I've been to as many or Tuesday pre games at Legion Field than just about anyone. But it's as bad an idea as there is.

For a good laugh I looked up the profile of ZIP code 35204, Legion Field:

Whites: 157
Black: 9,499

Closer to 1.3 percent than 13 percent.

Yea, I lived in the Hueytown for 20 years and now I live in Conway. I'm not a big fan of Little Rock and I'm not saying it's greatest city in the world. I'm just saying there is not a good part of Birmingham. Do you actually know anything about Conway or are you just assuming?

I stayed there for a night. The only notable things are that it's in a dry county and there's a weirdly colored football field.

There are a lot good parts of Birmingham, just not around Legion Field.

Hueytown, meh.. Depends on the area. Don't forget, Jamius learned to be a thug in Hueytown..

Yeah because the state of Alabama has done so much for us. Despite being visitors in our own godforsaken state, we still keep comin'. We never quit and we never will. Fighting the fat cat establishment and stickin' it to the man. "I can count only on what I earn. Therefore, I believe in work, hard work." So frick you frickin' fricks. And frick the state of Alabama. We're gonna give you hell on Saturday regardless of the score. May your soul rot in hell and may we be there to piss on you when you die.

Not much parking actually at the stadium back then. Most people parked in the neighborhood yards around the stadium. The folks that owned the houses charged a buck or so to park. The yards for blocks around were full of cars.

I went to games all through the 90s and I always parked in the stadium parking lot.
