Welp, I'm terrified now. But not really. It just means that if we punch them in the mouth that they'll probably fold.

Just wanna win. Move on to Vandy

This game concerns me. Ole Miss has talent and they are a wounded team. That is a dangerous combination. Their D sucks, which makes me feel better. I have watched Auburn football long enough to know not to take anything for granted.

Just need to set the tone early on both sides of the ball.

If we win big, then I'm really going to start believing in this team.

I wish we could get a pic of our entire two-deep on DL in pads like that. They need a nickname!

After reading that quote from Engram, I think we are going to pound the black bears like your local bammer does his sister. 48-16 WDE!
That team is basically done. You can almost see the tears in his eyes in that statement.

I agree with all of this. They have plenty of talent on O, and we are playing at their place. I think our best bet is to try to get the lead early and hope Swag starts trying to make plays and leads to some turnovers. But let's be honest, the guy is a playmaker and they have good receivers.
Ole Miss has shown several times this year they can jump out to tremendous leads. We have to make sure that does not happen.

Two of Ole Miss' key OL are "questionable" for this week's game, LT Rod Taylor and RG Jordan Sims
LT Rod Taylor
RG Jordan Sims
LT Rod Taylor
quote:
"Rod is a high ankle sprain so he will be questionable for this week," Freeze said. "It is not a break, but those high sprains are difficult at times, so he will be questionable."
RG Jordan Sims
quote:
Sims, a native of Homewood, aggrevated an ankle injury he'd been coping with for several weeks, according to Freeze. "He will be questionable or day-to-day this week also," Freeze said. "We definitely missed him in that game."
quote:
Jordan has really graded out as one of the better lineman that we've had, so it is tough to miss him there

These sorts of "players only" meetings at every school in high school and college in all divisions. I wouldn't read too much into it.

I would expect them to meet and rally for this game. It is really a tipping point for the season. A loss to Auburn and ATM and they finish 6-6 which is a far cry from competing for the west. They will come out strong, but I have confidence in our team and I believe they will have their own meeting to talk about what a big win means for their season.

They do not have the depth to sustain much in the second half.
Their OL is injured and wore out.
Their Rush D is like running through whip cream.
They have Kelly and taller receivers along with Engram which is my only concern.
They have no rush game. Will thy come out fired up? Yes, but once they start getting punched in the mouth they will fade.

Yeah I'm with you on this one. Just based on how we have played since the LSU game, I dont have nearly as much concern as I did earlier in the season. Our defense being awesome really is the key here coupled with how awesome our run game is now.

posted this on twitter last night and IMO this screams to me that if we jump on them early they'll fold up and get steamrolled. But if we give them hope that they can win, we'll be in for a damned dog fight.

In the video of Kevin Steele dancing in the locker room after the Arkansas game, you can hear the players chanting: "Super-D, Super-D, Super-D!" at the end.
That seems to be the name they've given themselves.
