I could care less whether someone kneels sits or squats in protest. What gets me is the people who are vocal about who do not stop what they are doing at home to pay respect but are quick to ridicule those who remain in silence during the anthem. Mr Bolt showed more respect by stopping an interview because another country's anthem was being played. How many people that raise issues would do the same. I respect the guys that do pay respect during the singing of the national anthem.

It's the double standard that we deal with to play with LSU fans. They dish out, but can't take it.

Well, to be frank, there are worse things that can be said about a university than that some alumni are exercising the very rights and freedoms the star-spangled banner stands for even in the face of widespread disapprobation. You don't have to like it, or agree with it, but it should supported on basic principle. The freedom to protest is what shaped America, after all.
