I corrected one of your lovers earlier, Auburn was up 7-4-1 in the all time series before the series went dormant. Simply a money issue, not a 39 game losing deficit.

Agreed - we aren't rivals (yours is OU), we don't play anymore, and Texas is not in the SEC. So what are you doing here?

So you think we should've remained in our previous conference?
For the sole reason of playing the horns in football every year?

Texas has 80 wins.
If you have a dollar you can get coffee and the series advantage over Texas A&M. We were a small military college most of our history, with big games often played on the road.

A&M, Tech, TCU, Baylor, Houston, SMU, etc, they're all the same. As long as we play one or two a year, we're doing our part to give the lesser state schools some exposure. Texas has no in-state rival because we have no in-state peer.
Good. Then you longhorns can continue to play Tech, TCU, Houston, etc. during rivalry week and there's no need to play Aggy.
There you have it, folks. No need to play the game.

I don't think TAMU are the ones running scared on this one.

We are perfectly happy with our SEC schedule with a high profile national game each year.
The palm screwing morons who keep bringing this subject up need to stop.
We have no desire to ever again rub shoulders with the cheating aholes from Austin. Those people destroyed a good conference with their lying, backstabbing, and cheating. They can deal with the aftermath.
Leave us the hell alone!

And I corrected your arse right back.
It was a money issue with the fricking longhorns, not an all-time series issue, especially one where the first 20 games were played on the road for A&M and a number of other ancient history factors that went away in the 1970s, shortly after the NCAA put an end to unlimited scholarships.
Neither you, nor anyone else is going to guilt or shame us into playing the fricking longhorns until we decide it is in our best interest, and our best interest will be the sole factor.
No, quit trolling and give up on this topic It's over.

Actually, this is how texas university views all other institutions, whether in or out of the State of Texas. It is one of the reasons why Arkansas, Colorado, Missouri, Nebraska and Texas A&M left whichever conference tu was tied to at the time. You don't play well with others. You believe that everyone else should bow down to whatever demands you see fit.
Times have changed though. This egotistical way in which you operate; showing disdain for anyone that isn't tu, just doesn't work. Unfortunately for you, in order to be successful as a program, you actually have to play competitive programs. The problem is, after decades of you looking down your nose at other programs and treating them like shite, no one likes you. No one wants to be associated with you.
So, you are stuck with Kansas, Iowa, West Virginia, Baylor and Texas Tech. You have the two schools from Oklahoma, but they are desperate for a way to break up with you.
tu is the girl who used to be hot in high school and everyone wanted to date. She treated people like shite though, people got sick of it and soon she couldn't find a steady boyfriend because of the reputation she had developed. Now, she sucks away her loneliness and Daddy issues at the local truck stop.
You're not wanted. You are a convenience frick until they find someone better.

Speaking of cheating and trying to rig the system:
LINK
They're literally trying to get the Texas Supreme Court to block (not dismiss, block) the lawsuit from the black, lesbian and handicapped former track coach who was fired for a relationship with her student while Major Applewhite was fricking a trainer on his staff and got a raise for it. They're actually claiming that the plaintiff can't provide proof that she was treated differently from other athletic coaches who did the same thing.
They know that if this case goes to court that discovery alone will destroy their athletic department. (Discovery which somehow is sealed by court order right now)
